Our stay at this resort left much to be desired. There were several notable shortcomings: 1. No minibar or vending machine. This should be made clear on the website as the nearest shop is a 20min drive. 2. Long walk to the restaurant and no room service. 3. Surprisingly, no bath mat provided. 4. Check in process was less than warm, which was disappointing. Reception staff had no people skills. 5. There was no restaurant drinks menu in the room. 6. Inadequate lighting with only one reading light. 7. The restaurant’s food quality was average at best. 8. Limited menu options, with no pasta dish or burger available. 9. The room was uncomfortably warm upon arrival, with the heater running unnecessarily. 10. While seated by the restaurant fire, we received no service. 11. Room not made up daily On a positive note, the young staff from overseas were attentive throughout our stay. The location was picturesque and the resort interior was stylish and cosy.
