We love staying at the Super 8 in Manistee for the convenience to the boat launch that we use. The staff is always friendly and the hotel itself is always well cleaned and fully stocked for breakfast in the morning. The only thing with our last trip there was there were no cookies waiting for us...

Das Zimmer war sauber aber dunkel und ungemütlich. Die Einrichtung wirkte als wäre sie noch aus den 70er Jahren. Wir waren froh, dass wir das Hotel nur für eine Nacht gebucht haben.

Rooms were very clean and staff was friendly, we liked the Jacuzzi tub. I wish the shuttle would have been running.

Disappointed in what is referred to a free breakfast 2 choices of cold cereal or instant oa**eal, package muffin, orange juice and yogurt In the past was a much more variety Such as waffle, boiled eggs, 2 choices of bread for toast or bagels Have been to Super 8 many times in the past We've been going to Manistee Hotel $50 a night vs $82 at Super 8 We went to Super 8 breakfast for the breakfast so disappointed with what little they were offering we ate at a local restaurant Next time we'll go back to Manistee Hotel

I have never paid for a hotel room where I didn't want to sleep in the bed. We walked in to stains on the carpet immediately as you open the door. As you progressed further into the room - there is a HUGE stain by the desk. After seeing the carpet, I knew I wasn't crawling between the sheets. The furnace did not keep the room warm - I kept getting up and cranking it up - by morning it was at 78 and I was still cold. I couldn't tell what the area around the property was like - it was dark when we got there and we were up at the crack of dawn to leave. I wasn't staying a minute longer than necessary. The rooms were nothing like the pictures online.........BEWARE - I took a picture but apparently you can't post it here.

I was a little bummed at the breakfast options, there was nothing hot like eggs, sausage waffles like at most of the hotels we stay at. Great location though and we loved our hot tub room, nice layout and very cozy.

My only objection was that I did not ask for a 1st floor room when I made the reservation. My wife and I both 83 and using the stairs was some what difficult but we managed. We definitely would return.
