I was there for only one night. I stayed there as it was in close proximity to LAX and I prefer smaller facilities to stay and Hi View fit the bill to a tee. Very nice place. Would highly recommend for travelers who wish to stay in the beach cities.

For the location and the value, you'll be hard pressed to do better. It's an older property that's been renovated multiple times over the years - I first stayed here 40 years ago. The rooms are nicely sized, the bathroom and shower work just dandy. The only oddity is no hanging closet for clothes - it's a series of hooks on one section of wall with hangers. Most folks aren't staying here for black tie affairs, and there's plenty of storage for beach wear, so deal with it. It's not the Ritz, so, if you're looking for the Ritz, go there.

Staff super friendly and helpful fining points of interest. Room tiny and only a full size bed. Hot water took 5 minutes to heat up. Small cable package for tv so not a lot of cable options (no HGTV, Food Network, Disney).

We absolutely LOVE this hotel. It is a true gem of a find. Excellent service. Rooms are clean and modern. And...great location that is convenient to Manhattan and Hermosa and to the freeways for easy access. Highly recommend this property.

POSITIVES: Great location near beach, quiet, good parking, safe, exterior renovated nicely, customers seemed nice. NEGATIVES: Moldy odor in room, faux Kleenex smells of Chinese chemicals, heater did not seem to keep the room warm.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but aren’t always around. The area is convenient to the beaches, LAX and the highways. The downsides are that the room keys seem to deactivate after 2 or 3 uses. It happened to us about 5 times in a week and since there’s no overnight staff (and sometimes no staff during the day), and they don’t always answer the phone, it can be scary to think you might get locked out for a substantial amount of time. Hopefully they fix this issue soon. Also, the room is mostly very clean, but some obvious misses, for example a wall and the door in the bathroom were clearly dirty.

Although the room was small, it worked perfectly for 2 people. The shower and floors are beautifully upgraded. Easy contactless checkout. Our room was facing the road but noise did not become an issue and we woke up to realize we had a small view of the ocean. Would stay here again.

Cet hôtel est très bien situé aux portes de Los Angeles proche de l’aéroport et des plages. Il possède un parking gratuit. Chambre pas très spacieuse mais confortable. Petit bémol pour la climatisation qui est beaucoup trop bruyante et la douche ou le débit d’eau est quasi nul

Very friendly staff that accommodated me for a unique situation! Very clean room and updated modern look. I was happily surprised and pleased.
