雙橡園汽車旅館(Twin Oaks Motel)

Typical motel set up. Place was dated but fairly clean. Bathroom was extremely tight. Area around the motel appeared to be a nice neighborhood.

This motel is very clean and gives top rate service. Staff was engaging and appeared happy to make everything convenient for us. Also there is no end to the hot water. The bathroom was of high quality.

The room had an overwhelming smoke odor. It seemed that guests/employees maybe were smoking outside the back of our room and the smell was coming in through the window AC unit. There was also an old coffee can with old cigarette butts outside the front door.

The room was dated but clean. The location was close to everything we wanted. It was quiet with good air conditioning.

Motel is old so it doesn't look great. However, the rooms are clean, the staff is great, and it is in a good location. The pool looked very clean and inviting.

We usually stay in more of a resort setting or Airbnb type of rental, but this vacation was a last minute, impromptu quick beach trip with our two little kids, so we decided to go more of the economic route. For the price point you can not go wrong! I’ve had to stay in economy motels related to work over the years and have seen some grimy places and bad neighborhoods but we trusted the other reviews on this one and were pleasantly surprised! Just a few minutes drive to the beach, rooms were clean, staff is exceptionally nice and friendly, and rates were very very good. Yes, the rooms are a little dated, the beds a little too soft (that’s a matter of personal preference though), but overall, very well worth it! If you and your family were hoping for a quick beach trip but thought it wasn’t in the budget for this year I think you should consider a stay here. We just dropped a lot of money on a new deck at home and figured “so much for vacation”. We have a 6 year old and a 2 year old. We want a vacation to see their eyes light up and hear them laugh, and kids don’t care if you stay in an economy motel or a 3000sq ft rental, they make the memories at the beach. Riding swings at night looking at the ocean. Having a pasta dinner outside with lightning bugs in the distance. Jumping and playing in the pool. That’s what family vacation is about. A motel stay that was cheap, yet clean and safe, and allowed us to still get in a 2023 vacation and give our kids these experiences.

Room wreaked of cigarette smoke. Blanket had animal hair. Generally unclean. Didn’t feel like a safe environment. Pool present but didn’t look clean.

These people do a great job with this place. While the decor could use refresh they keep it extremely clean...We dropped an item under the dresser and the bed which are usually extremely dirty in motels and both times we were surprised by the housekeepings attention to detail. The staff was extermely pleasant and responsive. I would highly recommend this place and that's coming from a manager at a hotel. Keep it up y'all!

It was your run of f the mill motel. Priced right and close to the beach . No frills, but convenient and simple. No complaints .
