陽光套房飯店

We did self-catering, and the small kitchen was very well-equipped with a modern hob. Even a coffee machine was supplied. The rooms were spacious, and we had a splendid view over the old historic airfield [only a few light planes take off at weekends] to the sea. The bus stops just up the road, so you can get to Chania easily, and the famous Black Lantern restaurant is a short walk away. Manilos, the owner, also runs the local car hire place, so guests get a discount. Recommended!

Room 305 excellent view of of pool/ sea, aircon in living area and sleeping area same with tv's all in with price no underhand extra costs when you get there. Safe also at no extra cost, family run with all the normal greek hospitality, housekeeping exelent with plenty of sheet and towels changes, big balcony, everything you need in kitchen area. Good bus service a short walk from sunny Suites, car hire also a short walk away, 10 minute walk to sea. All in all great value for money.

Amazing place to stay, the apartments are the best we have ever stayed at. We could find no faults at all (this the first time this has ever happened). apartments are serviced daily, Air con is free and also the safe. The apartments are about 1 kilometre from the beach, Some restaurants are closer and can be reached without having to climb hills. Excellent bus service (every 20 minutes) to Chania and other places on route

Just returned from 2 weeks at Sunny Suites. Absolutly loved every minute, the room was huge with separate lounge and bedroom, adequate kitchen and a nice modern bathroom. The pool was clean large enough for the amount of guests( there were no empty rooms) the bar area was good with plenty of choice. Hot Snacks were good and well priced. George who ran the bar all day from 10.30 was helpful and friendly as were the housekeeping staff who cleaned the room daily. If you want a great holiday in Crete, you will struggle to find a more accomodating and friendly place. Buses stopped almost outside for Chania every 20 minutes or so, Definitely worth a second visit.

We booked this hotel because of all of the fantastic reviews. On arrival the man (never told us his name) was slightly frosty. The hotel room was fine but not really deep cleaned, toothpaste all over the bathroom door, fridge had suspect marks 🤔 ect they came every day and folded the bedsheets and changed towels. The (manager) behind the pool bar served us all the lovely drinks to start but then got very stand offish, pretending he didn't know what we were asking for and said he was out of all food!! He could barely bring himself to say goodbye to us on the last day. We have absolutely no idea why he acted like this to us. Some people 🙄 were like his best mates, they could reserve all the sunbeds and have anything they wanted from the menu!! The manager on the night shift was absolutely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very friendly. Such a pity he wasnt there in the day, we stopped going to the pool because it felt intimidating. It's our 4th time in crete and this hotel experience has put me off. The pool breakfast bar does not open until 10.30am and there is very little around if you are hungry for breakfast. We got no information from the charming man who worked days (because he was not nice) when I asked him about the bus he pretended he didn't understand but I heard him speak perfect English with the lads buying him drinks the hour before!! Totally ruined my experience of Greece 🇬🇷 I'm not sure after so many times of repeated crete trips, I will come back. Gutted. Think carefully about what sort of experience you want?? If only 1 man who is rude it can totally ruin your holiday at such a small place!! Plus he is the only person to complain too🙂

Free air con in living room and bedroom and TVs in both. Great hairdryer and iron and ironing board. Very spacious apartment and large balcony. Plenty cups glasses pans plates etc and a big ish fridge kettle toaster and 2 ring hob. All staff were wonderful and very helpful. A few lovely restaurants within 5 to 10 mins walk and beach is also a 10 min walk. Soneone said crossing a busy road to get there! It os a main road but definitely NOT busy. Bus service spot and about every 20 mins and very cheap. It goes along the coast road and you can get on and off wherever u fancy. Chania Harbour is the last stop and is massive and beautiful and full of shops cafes restaurants etc. The venetian riviera is at one end and that is very special. We would definitely go back to this Hotel. It was quiet even though it was full and so very relaxing....also the beds are particukatly comfortable. PS...we celebrated out wedding anniversary there and gave each other cards and when we came back to room that day there was a bottle of lovely wine left for us. We never mentioned it but the cleaner saw out cards.
