馬哈巴里普拉姆大海灣度假村(Grande Bay Resort and Spa Mamallapuram)

Grand studio , vraiment spacieux, voire trop grand pour 2 personnes. La déco est un peu froide mais c'est propre. Le tout s'articulant autour d'une magnifique piscine très bien entretenue. Le personnel est adorable, se met en 4. La restauration est bonne un peu excessive en prix pour l'Inde . Très joli lobby. J'ai testé un massage au SPA, le lieu manque de confort et inspire pas vraiment à la détente

Très bel hôtel, la chambre est grande. Belle piscine avec maître nageur. Bon restaurant et prix raisonnables. Bon petit-déjeuner et personnel très gentil. Buggy gratuit pour vous amener à la plage ( pas de baignade car courants dangereux). Spa non utilisé car arrivée tardive.

Bel hôtel doté d’une magnifique piscine. Lobby traversant spacieux et très agréable. Petit déjeuner buffet, copieux, varié et de qualité. Chambres spacieuses à la décoration années 70. Voiturette pour vous accompagner à la plage. Service courtois et efficace, normal vu le nombre d’employés !

Durante il nostro viaggio in Tamil Nadu abbiamo soggiornato in diversi hotel, ma quello di cui conserviamo il ricordo più bello è sicuramente il Grande Bay Resort di Mamallapuram. Non mi soffermerò né a descrivere la bellezza delle camere affacciate sul giardino e sulla piscina, dotate di un patio con poltrone per un piacevole relax e neanche la qualità del cibo e le ricche e gustosissime colazioni! Infatti ciò che ci ha stupito e commosso è stato il comportamento di tutto il personale, particolarmente cortese, attento e sorridente, ma soprattutto di quello dei ragazzi della reception di turno la notte tra il 14 e il 15 aprile che, di fronte ad un problema di salute di mio marito, si sono attivati immediatamente per darci soccorso. Un grazie di cuore a tutti e tre, ma in particolar modo a Vasanth che ci è stato vicino e ci ha aiutato con i dottori, ben oltre il suo orario di lavoro! Grazie davvero! Nel nostro secondo viaggio in India, sono stati una conferma di ciò che abbiamo sempre amato degli Indiani: la gentilezza, la bontà di cuore, l'amabilità e il senso profondo dell'ospitalità!

Hotel fantástico, muy limpio. Está bien cuidado. El personal es muy agradable y amable. La piscina es grande y está limpia. Habitaciones amplias con grandes camas muy cómodas. La comida en el restaurante del hotel es buena. Los desayunos son completos y buenos.

Endroit très agréable disposant de chambres confortables, modernes et propres. Très bonne disposition des bungalows autour de la magnifique piscine. L’équipe de l’hôtel très accueillante et aux petits soins . Très bon petit déjeuner !

Très joli et agreable hotel a quelques minutes du centre historique et au bord de la mer. Hotel à taille humaine avec une immense et magnifique piscine et un accès direct à la plage en 2 min à pieds en en voiturette électrique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortable. Il y a aussi un Spa et un petite salle de sport. Toute l'équipe est vraiment aux petits soins avec les clients. Le restaurant est délicieux, le tea time est super (servi tout les jours dans une super ambiance). Merci encore à Tilla qui a été exceptionnelle avec nos fils et à Syed pour les cours de danse bollywood de grande qualité. Merci aussi à toute l'équipe au grand complet. Toutes et tous font en sorte que le séjour soit parfait. Cela fait deux fois que nous revenons dans cet hôtel. Et nous reviendrons j'espère !!

We had the great pleasure of spending the last days of our tour through India at the Grande Bay Resort, and we cannot praise this wonderful resort enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The entire team was incredibly courteous and friendly. Every staff member, from the reception to the restaurant staff to the housekeepers, contributed to making our stay unforgettable. The property itself is simply stunning – clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. Our room was comfortable. We would also like to highlight the excellent cuisine. The food was outstanding in taste. We had twice the catch of the day ☺️. There was also a wide variety of options, so there was something for every taste. I had booked a five night stay at Grande Bay Resort, and paid a 50% deposit of 25,200 rupees, as requested. But three weeks before my scheduled check-in I suffered a cardiac emergency (arrhythmia and heart failure) for which I was admitted to hospital in Kolkata. Upon discharge I was advised to return directly to England for further treatment . I therefore had to cancel my Grande Bay booking. This was done sufficiently early that no cancellation fee applied, and Grande Bay agreed to refund my full deposit of 25,200 rupees. But eight weeks later the refund has still not arrived. On 24th. December 2023 I provided my full banking details for the refund. I also suggested Paypal and Wise as alternative, easy methods of transfer. On 11th. January 2024 Grande Bay wrote 'We would like to inform you that the refund process has been initiated'. But still no refund has appeared. On 27th. January 2024 I wrote to the Resort Manager, Samuel Rajan, to complain that the refund had not arrived, more than a month after it was first requested. On 1st. February 2024 Mr Rajan replied 'Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.......the amount will be transferred within a week's time'. But two weeks later there is still no sign of the refund. I find it hard to believe that Grande Bay Resort's bank is incapable of making a simple transfer within eight weeks. I am forced to conclude either that no instruction for payment has ever been given to the bank; or that the payment has been diverted into the personal account of a Grande Bay Resort staff member. Either way, this is theft, plain and simple. It is disgraceful conduct on the part of the management at Grande Bay Resort. I cannot recommend making a reservation here if pre-payment of any deposit is demanded.
