This was our second time to COMO Maalafushi. We were celebrating our 10 wedding Anniversary and wanted to share the beauty and full circle moment with our son. The instant you arrive you are welcomed like family. We chose Maalafushi because of the kids club and our nine year old made fast friends from around the world and had the best time! The kids club allowed parents to have their special moments together and also as a family. What really made our stay memorable was our island steward Citti. She made sure we had everything we needed and was there after each excursion to check in on us. She went above and beyond to make us feel special. In the end Citti felt like family and it was hard to say goodbye. You’ll also be amazed that the entire staff knows your name. From dining to the marine center and beyond you were addressed by your name. You’re like how do they know us of we’ve never met them? That’s the magic and allure of Maalafushi. The food was delish and healthy. We were in Villa 320 sunset view . If you have the chance to book the best unobstructed view this is the room for you. So much privacy and we saw nurse sharks and all kinds of sea life swim by our Villa. COMO Maalafushi is a dream within a dream. Paradise like this do exist.

Como Maalifushi was simply perfect. We travelled as a family of 4 with our kids aged 9 and 11. There are so many highlights, and no negatives. The resort catered well for families. We stayed at the beach suite and water villa. They are well designed, spacious, with outdoor showers and private pool. They suited the environment, very comfortable, luxurious and really was outstanding. The main house reef is teeming with life. We saw coral, plenty of fish, sharks, eagle rays, turtles and so much more. The marine biologist Ricki was fantastic at taking us on snorkeling tours, was very engaging and explained the sea life to us. Aman was also terrific in taking us for dolphin, turtle and snorkeling activities. We had bikes to get around the island which added to the experience. The staff were all terrific. Friendly, warm and genuine. Key call-outs to the restaurant staff are to Nirob, Maria, Rini, Ita and Anne. Nirob was superb as the restaurant manager and Maria was very warm and engaging making our visit more memorable. The restaurant meals were all delicious. We also had a butler Opal who took care of us, booked activities, restaurant reservations. Even when my daughter needed some medical attention, she came over over quickly and took us to the doctor on site. Excellent service. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Everything was magical. The views were picture perfect. The lagoon was teeming with life. Plenty of water activities to keep us entertained. Beautiful accomodation. The staff were all warm & friendly. Well done Mohammed and Fareen on managing this place, it simply is perfect.

An outstanding experience far superior to any other luxury brand. We traveled a long time from the states to get to Maalifushi and it was well worth it. Almost immediately upon arrival we forgot about our long journey as the natural beauty is breathtaking. COMO has every minute detail covered leaving you wanting for nothing, except maybe a few more days on the island :). The staff is warm and welcoming from start to finish. Our “butler” Rana, went above and beyond to insure we had the most amazing stay. She is an example of what every luxury brand should want in a representative. Absolutely spot on. This was our first COMO stay but definitely not our last. COMOMaalufushi is spectacular.

After several trips to the Maldives I can say Como Maalifushi is one of the best resorts I’ve stayed in. Attentive service makes the difference. Unlike other Maldives resorts of similar level, the butler service here is indeed personalized. With so many luxury resorts increasingly relying on butlers as the main or even unique reference for all services, his or her expertise is paramount to the guest experience. I therefore wish to congratulate with Joy who confirmed a high standard of service, as already was the case in my previous stay with another butler. The sunset Maalifushi Water Villa (# 418) at the far end of the jetty is simply amazing. Spa facilities with massive overwater treatment rooms are amongst the best in the Maldives. I could only recommend that given its potential the spa offer be somehow enriched, rather than focusing only on standard treatments. Food quality is certainly above average and unlike other resorts they make a real effort to provide guests with variety, which can sometimes be problematic at the Maldives especially for longer stays.
