It’s very clean

Zeer goed, toplocatie, schoon en goede communicatie (hoewel wel heel veel dezelfde mails ontvangen over hoe het werkt). Het zou goed zijn om het vak voor de registratieformulieren dieper te maken, ivm identiteitsfraude. En onbemand kan gekke zaken tot gevolg hebben: er lagen twee mensen (uit) te slapen in de ontbijtruimte. Beetje ongemakkelijk.

Ich verbrachte einen Monat in Lund für einen Sprachkurs und entschied mich für das günstigste Hostel, das ich in der Stadt finden konnte. Ich war positiv überrascht, denn obwohl es etwas teurer war als andere Hostels, war auch das Hostel über dem normalen Hostelstandart. Die geräumigen Boxen mit Vorhängen gewährten eine gute Privatsphäre. In der Box ist ein kleiner Nachtisch, eine Steckdose und eine Nachtischlampe. Obwohl ich als Frau in einem gemischten Zimmer untergebracht war, war das dank der Vorhänge kein Problem, und ich hatte ausreichend Privatsphäre zum Umziehen und Entspannen. Alles war makellos sauber, und die Küche war bestens ausgestattet. Außerdem liegt das Hostel äußerst zentral, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur wunderschönen Innenstadt. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Duschkabinen im Badezimmer waren ausgezeichnet, und es gab ausreichend Toiletten und Waschbecken. Der Gemeinschaftsraum war perfekt sowohl zum Arbeiten als auch für gesellige Zusammenkünfte und verfügte über Steckdosen an fast jedem Platz. An Wochenenden kann es zwar zu kurzzeitigen Belegungen der Küche und des Gemeinschaftsraums durch größere Gruppen kommen, doch man kann sich immer in seine Box zurückziehen oder in die nahegelegene Bibliothek oder ein Café ausweichen. Sowohl das Hostel als auch die Stadt Lund haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich war im Zimmer Rausing, es hatte ein Fenster und eine Klimaanlage. Über dem Dach ist ein Kindergarten, den ich kein Problem fand, aber wenn man ausschlafen möchte und sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, dann könnte er vielleicht stören. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt! I spent a month in Lund for a language course and opted for the cheapest hostel I could find in the city. I was pleasantly surprised because although it was slightly more expensive than other hostels, it also exceeded the normal hostel standards. The spacious bed-boxes with curtains provided good privacy. Inside the cubicle, there's a small nightstand, an outlet, and a bedside lamp. Despite being a woman in a mixed dorm, thanks to the curtains, it wasn't an issue, and I had sufficient privacy for changing and relaxing. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Additionally, the hostel is extremely centrally located, in close proximity to the beautiful downtown area. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The shower cubicles in the bathroom were excellent, and there were plenty of toilets and sinks. The common area was perfect for both working and socializing, with power outlets available at almost every seat. On weekends, there may be temporary occupancy of the kitchen and common room by larger groups, but one can always retreat to their cubicle or visit the nearby library or café. Both the hostel and the city of Lund were very enjoyable for me. I stayed in the Rausing room, which had a window and air conditioning. Vandrarhemmet funkar nog för en mycket kort vistelse. Dörrarna i korridoren är tunga och låter mycket när stängs av, ljudisolering är dålig. Sängen är obekväm och rummet är för litet samt saknar fönster. Bodde i mini-hotellet dvs ensam på rummet. Köket däremot är bra utrustad och rent.

The facilities and bed stuff are all cleaned. Self-check in and check out are easy to understand to follow. The hotel is peaceful. Toilet and bathroom are clean. The hotel coordinator is pretty responsive. They tried to inform to me by other channels instead of Airbnb where i booked the room, because my email contact was not sent to the hotel by some issue from Airbnb.

Well organized and well arranged with cupboards and drawers. Made bed when you arrive. Well organized and clean kitchen. Everything is clean and fresh. Good location. Calm and quiet. Good service when needed. Very affordable!

My experience at Winstrup was great. It is a self-service style and minimalistic, which suited me perfectly. Absolutely spotless, very very clean and organised, which was an excellent experience. The rooms have door locks and courtains for each bed, which means you are not bothered no bother other people in the room with lights - it is a great system. I suggest you bring your lock for the closets, then you don't need to rent one. I don't have any complaints, it was truly my best experience staying at a hostel.

The room was really tiny which was fine for a short stay but I could imagine if you were staying longer it could be uncomfortable. The walls are indeed very thin so can get noisy depending on the other quests. The treatment of the staff was also disappointing... If you are looking for a nice stay in Lund go to the Bishops arms. Winstrup is a low budget hostel and it's better to invest more for a nice stay elsewhere.

I spent 4 nights here and found it really pleqsant. It is well set up for self check-in, the hostel was clean and well maintained, plus it has a surprisingly good kitchen. Bathrooms were clean, plenty of the essentials, and glhot water with good pressure. The location is great for Lund, easy to get everywhere on foot. Probably the only two "negatives" I can think of are that the top bunks are slightly uncomfortably high up, and that it has co-ed bathrooms. Neither bothered me, but just a heads up.
