This "hostel" is just an airbnb in an apar**ent complex. There is no signage on the building, and no front desk at all. If you don't get the sms with the entry codes then you're going to need to chase them on the phone which they won't answer. It's in a crappy part of town and there's no parking.

As a person who lived in this place for 6 days, I can tell that the hotel can be a perfect place for any single travelers. The overall environment is super clean and tidy, each pod looks very cool, it has great light effects , a very soft comfortable bed and a TV in individual pod. You can watching many free movies here. I am so appreciative for Kevin, a super nice, kind and enthusiastic guy who is really care about all customers and put a lot of effort in it.You will never need to worry about any problem of your first time of living in a pod. He will guide you. This place almost has everything, even have much more items than some bigger hotels. They also have a beautiful movie room and a dining room, both of them are clean and comfort and bring lots of fun. Shower water always hot (I definitely sure about that), they have very clean fridges, indoor and outdoor TV, free plastic tableware and so on. It shocked me that a small place can have so many things inside with good quality. However, this hotel may not suitable for everyone. They only allow one person sleep in each pod so that is not good for couples. Also remember DONNOT BRING BIG/HUGE PACKAGES, or you will have a big mess. Also this place has lots of rules, for people who don’t want complex things may not suitable for living here. Although Kevin try his best to not assign people in a same room, still it’s possible for you to share your bathroom with another stranger. Overall, I recommend every single traveler try

Really cool concept! The location was clean, quiet, and in amazing condition. The indoor and outdoor "theaters" were reqlly copl, though I was too busy to enjoy~ The pods themselves were a little cramped length-wise for me at 5'9" but it was manageable. HIGHLY recommend if you're spending time in LA!

In summary, my experience was quite positive, taking all aspects into account. The facility was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. However, one inconvenience was the need to store my belongings in lockers on the first floor, requiring multiple trips to access them. The staff members were incredibly helpful and accommodating. On the downside, there was a consistent issue with the owner notifying me via text whenever I forgot to close a door. While I understand the desire to maintain the property, the constant surveillance felt uncomfortable. To my surprise, the manager, recognizing my frequent forgetfulness, upgraded me to a deluxe room at no additional cost. This room was notably more spacious and comfortable, eliminating the need for reminders about door closures. Despite this minor issue, the staff was warm and welcoming, making my stay enjoyable. I'm satisfied with my choice and would certainly consider returning if I revisit Los Angeles on a budget

LA Podlife is a clean and blissful getaway from the bustling LA lifestyle. We arrived late Saturday night after a long search for a place to stay that was both convenient and affordable. What we found was a modern and serene sanctuary. Chris was extremely accommodating. Even after a very late check in. He took the time to show us the ammenities which included a small theater, dining space and gym. We enjoyed the space so much, we decided to stay another night and fully recharge on these calming grounds. Definitely a place to stay while visiting LA.

I had a great stay here while in LA acting in a movie. The place is insanely clean, so so so quiet. The staff was so friendly in meeting me at the front when I got there, helping me find street parking, and explaining how everything worked. The basic pods are small, so if you are claustrophobic they may not be for you. I was upgraded to a luxury pod which is big enough for two people. It was a lot like camping. The property has a lot of rules. Basic things like keeping very quiet, not leaving your things out, being courteous to others. Since the pods are close to each other, the rules are there to make sure everyone has a quiet, relaxing stay. The hotel had a lot of pods booked but it was SO quiet it genuinely felt like I had the entire building to myself. Highly recommended for solo travelers who want to save money on hotels. Street parking wasn't a problem, and it was located close to the USC campus. The entire place has a cool sci-fi sort of theme going, and a cool outdoor area to hang out in with a firepit and large TV.
