The facility is rather spartan and needs uplif**ent. There was no signpost to indicate the hotel at the address. Located on the busy Bow road, the environs appear rather untidy with uncleared refuse close to the hotel's entrance. This location is a plus, being close to the Westfield Shopping Center , Stratford. Like the building, most of the facilities are equally aged, like the archaic door key system. The self styled ''self service breakfast'' is quite spartan with few offerings while the venue only accommodates a center table with only 4 seats. Sleep quality was rather poor as my room on the ground floor suffered from the noise of night time driving on Bow road. The cost of services offered are on the high side while the hotel urgently needs an improvement and uplift.

Basic but what we needed and the kitchen facilities were good, you can cook etc and a shop almost next door for anything else you need that isn't provided. Staff were friendly and explained everything very well. we were fortunate to go on a weekend and found free parking just up the road that was only permit mon to fri and the tube is just down the road so perfect for our weekend in London

It was my worst hotel experience. The room was on the ground floor (114), it did not have a proper window (a window to another room - a porch on the street side), the curtains were stained with a colour. It definately is not worth c. 100 euros a night.

When we arrived, staff were very firendly and asked if we smoked. We said no and we were greeted with, thats good. He then showed us the kitchen and there was a lot on offer, for breakfsst, bread, eggs, cereal, tea coffee. It was a pleasant suprise. We went upstairs to our room and it absolutely reeked of cigarettes. We opened the window in hope it would clear the air. As non smokers it wasnt pleasant. The room was clean, but it is very worn and needs a really good overhaul. As we only intended to sleep in our room, as we booked to go to the Abba Arena, we felt for the price we would make do. Its in a grest location and staff are friendly and even though bedding and towels are fresh, the room let itself down. After day 2, we still couldnt rid the room of the stale cigarette smell.

Very good value for money. Easy access to center via tube or DLR. The self-service breakfast at the kitchen is a great idea. I wish I could open the small window, it would greatly help releasing the summer heat.

Noise from outside but overall it was a wonderful stay and staff very helpful with great customer support.
