Stunning experience from start to finish which we cannot fault…amazing room at beautiful Victorian classic style pub with sensational Sunday roast…already planning a return visit but may bring reinforcements to help us with the Thors Hammer lunch lol

Quaint hotel with an amazing pub attached. Excellent access to the train line to get you off on your adventure. Room #2 was remodeled recently and looks fresh and updated. Large claw-foot tub to bath in and a separate glass shower. Vaulted toilet, heated towel bar add a bit of class to the room. Only two real concerns: the air conditioner has not worked properly in three days and getting it definitively fixed hasn’t happened. Sleeping has been horrible as it’s very warm, have had to sleep with insecure doors open to allow for air circulation. TV volume is also governed and watched shows were hard to heard.. The overall experience was good, but the issue with the A/C unit made our stay way less enjoyable. Lack of quality sleep is a game changer when vacationing. Three days of complaining about it with no definitive fix was also frustrating. The overall experience was good, but the issue with the A/C unit was frustrating and ongoing.

I’m writing this review at 5.45am from my bed in the Alma Hotel. Lovely room and bathroom in this great pub/hotel. Unfortunately my room is situated right next to some kind of generator that came on at 5am. It is loud and even reverberating through my bed. No amount of luxury can make up for broken sleep. My experience will put me off ever staying here again. I have a long day ahead of me and my severely shortened sleep is going to make this a struggle. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is very far away from downtown London. While it is true that there is a train station across from the hotel, it will take you a train ride from the hotel to the Waterloo station to take the subway into town, a good bit over an hour of travel, one way. The hotel is also difficult to travel to and from the airport so your taxi will cost you a pretty penny. There is no elevator if you happen to be booked upstairs and there are not wash clothes for showering. The bed was good and the bathroom spacious. The coffee was excellent, I do have to say, but other than we will it return to the Alma.

Dell' Alma Hotel mi è piaciuto tutto. E' molto pulito, le camere belle e soprattutto spaziose, il bagno poi veramente molto comodo. La posizione è fantastica, Wandsworth è un quartiere davvero piacevole a soli 10 minuti di treno dalla stazione di Waterloo. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti, famiglie, coppie, single, gruppi di amici. Il pub è un plus e si mangia molto bene. Ciliegina sulla torta uno staff giovane, cordiale e soprattutto sempre pronto a rendere il tuo soggiorno veramente piacevole.
