The room may be small but it was lovely and clean and tidy, with tea & coffee nothing more was needed. The staff were great and really friendly, the breakfast was fabulous, we will definitely return there. Location was brilliant.

Room was clean and quite ok for my needs. For the price it was fine. Other family members had more luxurious hotel put paid twice the price.

First night room unbelievably hot and no hot water in bathroom. Second night there was hot water and by turning heating off altogether and opening the window temperature ok

Fantastic spot, area is great! Just a perfect little stay in the midst of London. Was perfect for what I needed.

Pros: Great location for walking to places. Clean and friendly staff. Value for money considering upmarket area. Cons: Rock hard pillows, very thin walls (everything from outside and neighbouring rooms was heard), not very secure (no staff present most times).

I'll start with the pros: location is great, a minute from Marylebone High Street. Rooms were clean but TINY, very very difficult to even have your suitcase lying flat in the room. WIFI is decent. Cons: rooms are old and very small - anywhere else in the world I doubt this hotel could charge more than $50 a night. For example, one of our beds had an old spring just poking through the mattress. It all just feels very run down. One night we didn't have hot water, but otherwise it was fine. Our major con was with customer service. Please note - this hotel does not offer proper luggage storage, but rather the luggage is left in the main lobby without any luggage receipts or tags. We were rightfully a little concerned about this and asked if our 2 small bags with valuable could be left behind reception or in one of the offices. This happened on Sunday 24/7 - the man on duty (who was lovely) required the permission of a woman at the neighbouring property. The woman on duty was incredibly rude, questioning why we were upset and dismissing our "behaviour" and putting this down to "cultural differences" (we are still in shock at how rude she was). We did get upset, at which point she stood her ground and was quite obnoxious towards us. Again, all we asked was that 2 small bags could be put somewhere a little safer - but this was considered too much of an ask. Overall, it became very clear that customer service i not a priority! We visit London about 5-6 times a year.

When I arrived I was told my room was upgraded which sounded good. I was given a room that did have some climate control - but no light as the window was a door to where a generator or similar was placed. It's was in the basement so no daylight came in and my phone didn't have any signal at all. I asked for a room with a window and was given the one I was uograded from. This room had a window but no aircon or similar and the room was about 30 degrees. The bed wasn't comfortable and the double bed was short as it was 2 singles pushed together. There was very little water pressure so even having a shower was a challenge.

It was very warm, but there was nothing to be done about it. We did have two fans, but there were 4 people in that room, so it got toasty. The staff was incredibly nice though. Very accommodating.

No fan, no AC, it was a hell inside that room even with the window opened. Didnt sleep anything.
