杜蘭特斯飯店(Durrants Hotel)

Sjarmerende og koselig hotell i et hyggelig område. Jeg brukte poeng fra ********** slik at jeg kunne bestille dobbeltrom for en person (leste at enkeltrom er litt små). Fikk følelsen av at jeg fikk det dårligste dobbelt rommet på grunn av dette! Rommet var altfor varmt (en liten Dyson vifte hjalp ikke nok og bråkte noe forferdelig), dårlig dusj, såvidt toalettet fungerte. Og ingen minibar som selv personalet ble overrasket over! Hadde håpet jeg skulle finne mitt nye favoritthotell i London men jeg fortsetter letingen!

Hotel antiguo, con buenas y modernas habitaciones, de tamaño adecuado. Extraordinaria ubicación, muy tranquilo, a un par de cuadras de Oxford St. Sector con muy buenas tiendas y restaurantes. El personal muy amable. Lo único que comentar el servicio de limpieza de la habitación, no muy bueno, quedo desordenado y aseo poco profundo.

Felt like a sardine in a tin. The bedrooms were tiny And in a double you felt like you were in a traffic jam. Only one person could move in the room at a time sadly not for us. Though Marley one where it is is livell and lovely

We booked a king size bed. The room they put us in was hardly larger than a corner of a postage stamp and the bed was only twin size. My husband is 6” tall, there was hardly any room for the two of us. I didn’t sleep the whole night and went to my medical procedure very tired. The bathroom plumbing is from 2 centuries ago. To get any water out of the taps you have to turn the knobs several times to the point of getting confused which way to turn the knobs to get any water at all. There were no shower caps. And since it was Sunday evening the restaurant was closed as were a lot of eating places in the area. To top it all off, I booked the room at £ 255 and they charged us £ 275. When I complained at the checkout in the morning I was assured that my comments will be passed on to the management. I wonder…

I booked this hotel using the search option on here for airport transfers. I did not find out until I was there that the airport transfer was $75, whereas I could just take the tube to the airport for a few dollars. Had I known that I would have picked a different location. The bathroom sink would not drain the whole 2 days I was there, and when housekeeping came to clean my room they did not replenish the toiletries. I called to the front desk and they brought shampoo and conditioner, all I wanted was the lotion. Overall, I was not happy with this stay and I wouldn't book it again. It was too expensive for how tiny the room was.

Loved this hotel a little Gem. Nice rooms, you can open windows, friendly staff, nice little bar, not too corporate. Only downside is you pay £29 per day for breakfast as a set rate. On the menu it lists the items individually and the cost per item. My colleague and I only had cornflakes and a coffee and still had to pay £29. That’s very expensive for cornflakes even in London! We will definitely stay at Durrants again as in London every month on business, however next time we will get breakfast in a coffee shop. Many thanks

Bathroom and Bed cleanliness was not what you would expect and very disappointing. Changed to a new room, which was much better, but overall spoilt our evening. Didn’t really bother the manager (he just stood in the back ground until I asked where he was???) Other hotel representatives were very polite and accommodating.
