塞米蘭飯店(Hotel Cymyran)

Well, where do I start. The room was clean (ish) when i first arrived, although the carpets showed their age, worn and stained, marks on the mix and match bedroom furniture. Rooms definitely need updating, The highlight of the place is the owner (Prydwen) and her right hand woman\cleaner. They are abrupt and extremely arrogant. As a homeless person, they refer to you as scum and definitely get sub human treatment. I agree that sometimes there are or have been people there who are subject to substance abuse, but they generally get dealt with and evicted. The review about where Prydwen says she hates children and dogs is definitely true. She once referred to one of the homeless peoples child as 'it'. Prydwen also likes to take advantage of homeless people and try to get them doing jobs around the grounds, and make them feel obliged they have to do it to stay there. There are security who go to check on the welfare of the homeless, and Prydwen doesn't like them, so she does things to wind them up but asks the homeless to do her bidding and highlight it to security as she clearly won't do it herself. Once again taking advantage of vulnerable people. In a nutshell, i can verify all the bad reviews about the owner are definitely true, and if anything they are watered down as i have seen first hand how she treats and talks to people. The hotel itself is a has been. It looks almost abandoned when you get there. The cost you'll pay here there are places within 10 mins for a fraction of the price where you will be better off. Not sure if this will get a reply, but i won't be surprised as Prydwen always has something negative to say about everyone. Avoid this place like the plague

If I could give it -5 stars I would. Driving through the gates with the whole empty out of season look , should have had us running for the hills. Main hotel doors locked with a sign telling you to telephone a number . The lady /owner answered and told us she didn't have us on the list. We were told to wait 15 minutes and she would drive from Holyhead to see us to our room. When she arrived ,she complained that we had booked through ********** . She said she didn't understand why people did that ? She was grateful that we didn't have children or dogs because she didn't like that type of guest. Alarm bells were clanging but there wasn't another hotel room on Anglesey for that night. She then told us that there were no restaurant/ bar facilities. She said she couldn't get staff because they were lazy and preferred to be on furlough! She then took my money and told me to go downstairs to the room. The key would be in the door . The room looked OK on peeking through the door and unfortunately we had to leave almost immediately as we had arranged to be somewhere. When we got back to the room later on , the full horror of the place showed itself. It was FILTHY. I mean absolutely disgustingly filthy. It hadn't been vacuumed, cleaned ,dusted, lights didn't work. The shower was just horrible , with an absolutely disgusting shower curtain. The cobwebs everywhere were months thick. We didn't dare sleep in the bed and after an hour trying to find alternative accommodation, we went to the local supermarket and bought cleaning supplies. On cleaning a drawer handle , I opened the drawer and there was paperwork from a previous occupant ( who I think had been living there , as there was an offer of a job at the local mental health hospital and a housing application form with the hotel stated as the address) so obviously nothing at all had been cleaned . The cups had rings of dried coffee/tea in them where they hadn't been washed . We slept in the chairs. On leaving , I wanted to complain about the filthy conditions but again the entire building was deserted. Avoid this place like the plague, on hindsight ,we should have just slept in the car . Should the owner dispute any of this , there is dated photographic evidence and I couldn't bring it up at the time as there wasn't a soul to speak to. Lights out everywhere. Please avoid

Place is full of drug ******* put in there for emergency housing.And the owner is extremely rude and there was definitely no warm welcome.Just a drugged up homeless man booking and the owner is absolutely horrible lady. ####please save yourself before it’s to late###

Please pay Attention!!! I have used ********** four months ago to book an accommodation and payed via **********. When I arrived at hotel the owner had no idea and refused **********'s booking and I have to pay again to stay at the hotel. Owner had NO idea about **********. I requested a refund but they NEVER did. So, I realised that the ********** is like online pirate website and does NOT have any contract with hotels. They use excuse that they can't get in touch with the hotel I stayed and put the blame on you to KEEP YOUR money. STAY AWAY from ********** and just call hotel directly to book you accommodation. The owner of the Hotel Cymyran is great person, we had good chat together.

Appalling attitude from staff. Booked a room only to be told on arrival at 5:30pm that they are fully booked. Staff member was rude and very unhelpful and just said 'nothing we can do'. From the reviews on here im glad we didnt get past the front door!

Unbelievably horrendous. No food or bar. No staff. Filthy mouldy room with a view of a brick wall. £110 paid .. it’s in the middle of nowhere so you have to abstain from drinking due to driving. I can’t believe they’re allowed to advertise on ******* !!!! Absolute nightmare with crap staff. No breakfast served even though it was booked !!!
