AHA利文斯通大衛野生動物水療小屋(aha The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa)

Excellent welcome by Clement. Beautiful room and lovely location. Good breakfasts. Concerns....all raised with on site management to no avail. Guest book states free shuttles to town and Falls. These are not only not available but come at a hefty price of 20 usd each way. Our tour operators Owen's Tours (Excellent!) Offered these at 4 dollars each way. The two included dinners. Where they were served. When. What was included. Could not get clarity from anyone. Even after 5 days. Both times we ordered, we were told the kitchen was closed. At 6.30pm! Then a 'plan' was made and a rushed order placed for a single course. After the first time we discussed with the duty manager the next day. He resolved to remedy. To no avail. Rooms not ready on check in. Not for hours. But on requesting a late check out was denied. Even on checking in. Items such bath mat, some room toiletries missing. The new year champagne breakfast advertised on the huge poster in reception had no champagne. Noone had read the poster and all appeared dumbstruck on the request that it was supplied. We refused to leave the restaurant without it. Then it was supplied. Witnessed many other guests struggling with multiple similar challenges through the 5 days.

We stayed here for Victoria Falls, hotel is a big place and we were lucky with the timing in some regards as it was quiet... So a breakfast table right on the river was easy to get... A beautiful place to be.. The room was huge, I think we were upgraded to a suite as there were some works being undertaken, the river boat and bar area were being attended to but it was nt intrusive... Jacuzzi in the room as a feature was nice but too cold to enjoy, I can see that being useful in the hot season as a personal plunge pool to chill out but a nice feature anyway... Well appointed and we'll looked after, would happily visit again, staff all super helpful and a great place to use as a base for the Falls

This review is LONG overdue as me and my wife stayed at aha David Livingstone last September. We had been in touch with the aha team for 18 months before the stay after the pandemic forced us to cancel our first attempt. The staff was always accommodating and responsive in spite of numerous reservation modifications and too many emails to count. When we arrived and were ushered into the reception area by the authentic live music, we immediately knew we had made the right lodging choice. The staff obviously knew us by name because of the lengthy communications, and we had a laugh about that. The aha team went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We stayed in a signature suite thanks to the generous upgrade, and it was terrific. Multi-level, jacuzzi, two bathrooms, living room, and bar area. The bedding was top-notch. We took advantage of the Zambezi river boat tour on our first night, which was an excellent start to our stay. We also took advantage of the spa and were pleased with the service. Ate all of our meals at the hotel and found the quality and variety to be good. Also, used the gym each day and it was a delight to work out with a view of hippos and crocs in the river. I'd give a 6/5 review if Tripadvisor would let me. There's amazing value here when compared to the cost and other options in the area. Thank you so much, Jacki, Frieda, and the team for everything!

We stayed 4 nights here. The lodge and room were nice, employees friendly, but dinner options for food were lacking. We prepaid on *******, however the hotel also charged us. For the last two months they have promised to wire the funds back to us, but nothing. Paying twice, for one stay, is very disappointing.

David Livingstone hotel to visit Victoria Falls was awesome. The hotel was fabulous and our rooms, which is like a seperate little bungalow, was absolutely fantastic. The staff were lovely, food was great, swimming pool fab, Zambezi river situation super. The whole thing was amazing. Visiting Victoria Falls was incredible, but staying at David Livingstone just made the whole thing absolutely fantastic. I could massively recommend it

Nice hotel, beautiful location, a bit overpriced considering it was almost empty.

The view of the Zambezi is excellent for this quite and serene place. Though i did not have sleep quality due to a busy business schedule but the little time spent was refreshing and relaxing. Management must consider expanding more rooms to cater for ever increasing demands especially conferences. I would definitely go back!

This was my fourth stay at the David Livingstone Lodge & Spa, and I would have to say that it never gets old. From the sunset cruise to the spa facilities and the grounds in general, everything is well-appointed and geared to a relaxing and ultimately pleasant stay. The staff are always quite accommodating and willing to go that extra mile to make my stay a memorable one. My special thanks to Lewis, who arranged an excursion into Zimbabwe, and to Bruce, whose presence at dinner and breakfast service made everything enjoyable. That said, I can’t wait to return yet again! Thanks.

First stayed at the hotel in August-September 2023 and had a bad experience with the mosquitos and service at the restaurant.Went back in October 2023 and the service at the restaurant after the feedback was 👌🏽.Dinner at Kalai restaurant which is upstairs was exceptional and didn’t know they served dinner earlier.The food was very nice and all the staff helpful.Mosquitoes this time around in my room were not a problem and repellent is available when outside.Overall I had a good experience at the hotel and has a beautiful view of the Zambezi River .
