巴利馬克飯店(Ballymac Hotel)

O banheiro não estava limpo adequadamente, havia tampas de shampoo no chão do banheiro. Gostei muito do restaurante do hotel para jantar. O café da manhã eu não gostei, por ter poucas opções e pela baixa qualidade dos pães. A localização distante do centro não me atrapalhou, porque eu estava com carro.

Four of us stayed for the mother day deal. Arrived for 4 oclock check in receptionist very friendly. Our party had two rooms one was the disabled room and the other was four poster bed with seating area. Rooms were clean just a bit outdated. We had brought a bottle of bubbly as it was for our mothers so thought this would be nice to just relax in room so I went to bar to request 4 glasses and glass of ice to be snubbed by the barman/manager he handed me 2 wine glasses said we dont give glasses and can’t give you ice? Bar was full I walked off with embarrassment never been refused ice or glasses before, we made do with what we had. It was only a toast cheers mums enjoy. We then went to bar couldn’t get a seat that’s fine we sat out in reception area which is lovely and different man who was lovely took out orders. Enjoyed the cocktails we got. Later we went for dinner couldn’t fault the main meal was delicious desserts where ok but was stuffed anyway. Enjoyed the rest of the evening in bar with some music. Then came bedtime. Unfortunately for us the huge four poster bed was extremely uncomfortable the springs could be felt digging in to you. Also room facing us had girls going in and out doors slammed singing shouting. Bad night sleep but looking forward to cooked breakfast. Well we all ordered the Ulster fry from waitress . The room had handful of people. Food set down was extremely disappointing the soda and potato bread warmed or toasted very lightly not the usual way and egg plonked on top of them. 2 where well undercooked I took it off the plate yolk still see through. Very disappointed as dinner was so nice but breakfast agh never again. Which is a pity as it wasn’t like they were rushed it doesn’t take much to fry soda and potato and cook an egg? Mothers enjoyed their night away they slept well no complaints for them which is main reason unfortunately won’t return.

I had dinner there today, 25/07/2023 at 3pm, and after reading some of the reveiws on line I was very pleasantly surprised. We where with the Turner party of 6 plus us and I must say any person(s) who give this place a negative review need to move to another country. The serving staff, the bar manager, the reciptions today had the best customer service I have withnessed in many years. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and set in beautiful surroundings. This is a real GEM of a place so very well done guys.

Food was amazing- good price, big portions, great taste and came out hot and fresh. We were there for a few hours having drink and food, every plate that went back to the kitchen was empty from customers around us. Served very quickly, staff are attentive to everyone and very busy. They even checked on us to see what our plans were and had suggestions for taxis/eating/drinking and sightseeing. Will definitely eat here again. Very nice hotel in quiet location- good a**osphere and clean areas.

Travelled here for Mother’s Day with 2 other couples and our children. The man taking the booking was so rude to begin with so we should have known what was coming. The same man, the manager I believe to be called ciaran, greeted us on arrival. He was as rude then as he was in the phone, no people skills whatsoever. Looked severely flustered on probably the busiest day of the year of the year for them, understandable, but if you can’t manage the booking then don’t take it, simple. Didn’t have a table for us, set us one up, scowled at us where it was while slapping menus onto it. Choose not to give us the Mother’s Day set menus which everyone else seemed to have so we didn’t get a choice from it. The waitress serving us was lovely but she hadn’t had a break in 8 hours and was probably terrified of him so had to struggle on. The food wasn’t much better. I’d say 80% of it was frozen. For example, think 1kg bag frozen dusted chicken from Iceland, as your £7 chicken goujon starter. The table of ladies behind us stated they wouldn’t be back either. Overpriced for a bog standard frozen meal with overworked neglected staff and a management team that clearly had no idea how to deal with paying members of the public. Go find a job you enjoy CIARAN cause this one ain’t for you.

The “bar manager” was rude from the second we walked in. Walked us through to the big room, he took a £100 deposit from us for a 10 person meal and then when they realised they didn’t have a table he accused a girl of taking the booking when it was clearly him, then told us to go to the reception and pointed to a door, we tried to make our way round the side to avoid having to walk through people having their meal and he shouted “that’s the kitchen” as if we were going to walk through staff washing dishes to get to reception, running about like a headless chicken all night didn’t have a clue what he was at and heard him tell a staff member to hurry up. Then we paid £7.95 for a bowl of rubbery frozen squid and the same for 6 pieces of dusted chicken, you can buy a bag of them from Iceland for £5. Mains awful too. The worst dinner experience I have ever had and I will never ever be back and hopefully the give the manager a new title of dishwasher or sack him

family meal ... very disapointed with the food ,steaks served with nothing but chips nothing else unless ur paying extra for sides to make it look more appealing ,the lasagne dried up with rubbery pasta clearly microwaved no bechemal sauce just some melted cheese on top .. yeah plenty of other places to visit before I think of eating here again

Would highly not recommend staying here wee arrived at this hotel checked in then went for food our room was stinking owner of hotel wasn't very helpful manger in bar very ignorant when I showed him what looked to be facies on frame of bathroom door ge tried to accuse me spitting or something room also full of dust and cobwebs girl had to be sent down twice and had to be showed by myself were they were because she could not see them room was freezing and draft was terrible threw window would never stay in this place again the food was really nice so I would give high rate to the cook if I hand not had a drink I would have drove home after the manager was so rude to me and tried to make a show of me in the bar in front of Me by shouting do o was 4 in bed or something and then asked was I one of these ones that went round picking at every little thing in a hotel worst hotel I have ever been to

Good service, food and very clean. The room had blinds, no curtains and as a result felt a bit cold on a bitter winters night. Also, not enough plug sockets! Nice location though & handy for the airport.
