班岩海港度假村(Banyan Harbor Resort)

The service was fine. The unit was very old carpet smelled,  the unit needs to be updated. Everything was looking like it was from 1970 , if it was updated, I would stay there again, but not the way it is now for the price that you pay was too much. It did have a washer and dryer which was good. It had designated parking, which was cool and staff was nice ,

It has a great location, swimming, shopping, dining all within walking distance. This time they had security at the guard shack. The last time I was here in 2019, security was not here, but I never felt unsafe. It is very quiet and serene. The check in was a breeze, and the staff was very polite, and offered a concierge. I love the fact that there is a full kitchen, and all dishes, pans, and even things I didn't even know I needed were there. When I come back this is where I will stay again. 2 bedroom/1.5 bathroom, open kitchen into living room and has washer/dryer. Somewhat dated but if you're staying in Kaua'i in the resort, go to a cheaper location! Walkable to several restaurants and the amazing Kalapaki Beach. Uber/taxi friendly place so no need for rental car. The ABC is walkable for groceries but very limited. NOTE: schedule early a taxi for early morning flights from LIH as early Uber is very limited.

I would have given all top marks, except that I had specifically requested to be in a unit that did not require stairs to access. This is because this was a working trip, and we had over 1000lbs of tools and gear to unload from the truck into the unit every day for safe keeping. We got a garden level unit that required descending one story on the stairs.

Apartamento muy cómodo. La cocina excelentemente equipada. Tuvimos la suerte de tener una vista maravillosa desde el balcón. Camas muy cómodas, no así las almohadas.

I like the full kitchen set-up. We were able to save tons of money for cooking our own meal. The pool was nice and the fact that it opens until 9pm is a plus. However, there were things that I DO NOT LIKE in the unit that we stayed in. -Cleanliness was below average. The couch/sofa set was so dirty that the covers needs to be changed. God only knows how long they’ve been sitting there because of the sofa covers’ color. -I could tell that the carpet needs some shampooing and steaming too. We were really hesitant not wearing our slippers inside the unit because of this reason -Ceiling fans needs to be cleaned. There was a “thick line” of dust on the edges of the fan. We didn’t use our fans due to this reason. The AC needs some cleaning too. When I turned on the AC, dust blew straight through my face. The AC lines/pipes (or whatever you call it) needs to be flushed too as the water dripping from the AC was ridiculous. -TVs and the cable boxes were dusty -Shower head was molded -Cooking utensil was not washed. Soon as we checked in to our unit, and I was checking the utensils inside the drawers, I saw a dirty utensil used and not being washed. Overall, the property was good aside from the things that I mentioned above. The housekeepers must just be in a rush cleaning our unit as we were trying to check-in already. However, cleanliness should be a priority especially that this type of business caters mostly to the families(with infants and toddlers in tow).

Excellent service and concierge that gives you a lot of activities. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had the two bedroom condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. So great that it had a full kitchen with washer and dryer. Was nice to make breakfast and wash your clothes especially after the beach. Very convenient location not too far from the beaches, airport, restaurants, and shopping. The only things that could be improved is the pool and parking. The view from the pool is amazing but we just wished it could be more. Great place to relax. Parking is okay but the spaces are really tight and some nights were hard to get a spot near our unit.
