CTY 布克斯飯店(Cty Books)

Hier overnacht. Mooie ruime kamer in prachtig oud pand. Er is geen personeel aanwezig maar instructie vooraf hoe binnen te komen prima. Heel eenvoudig met schuifje op de telefoon. Mijn kamer, nr. 4 aan de achterkant. Heel ruim opgezet. Je hoort wel het lawaai van de kroegen en terrassen.

Super, pal in het centrum van de stad. Mooie kamers. Niemand gezien want in en out checken ging contactloos. Kamer was iets kleiner dan op de foto’s leek en voor het bedrag hadden we wel iets van water erbij verwacht. Alles was perfect onderhouden. Geen mogelijkheid om dichtbij te parkeren of om iets extra’s te vragen zoals ontbijt op de kamer.

Mooie nieuwe kamer. Zeker een keukentje vonden wij erg fijn in deze tijd. Kamer openen met een app, ook leuk voor een eerste keer. We stonden buiten gelijk tussen alle terrasjes en de markt. Ook fijn.

I love the ease of entering the room digitally, it’s easy and no hassle. If anything it’s not very personal, which i don’t even mind. Staff (room service) was very friendly, no issues. It is a weird feeling not seeing any staff around. Not a big issue but some spots clearly weren’t vacuumed. But i only noticed when checking under the bed for any of my items.

There is no bar or restaurant onsite but you are right next to a number of great bars, restaurants and cafes. The web based keys worked and were simple to use.

Stayed with friends and booked 3 large rooms/ apar**ents. They were all lovely. Very central . Stairs could be difficult for those with mobility challenges but they were absolutely fine for us and added to the uniqueness of the building.

I had a nigh**are stay at cty books hotel and would not recommend to anyone who wants to get a moment’s shut eye at night. The hotel is on a party road by the river loud till 5am and the single glazed windows mean you feel all these people are in your bed. Photos of the rooms are seriously deceiving: rooms are dark and claustrophobic. The staircase steep and v dangerous, not to carry a suitcase up. The hotel is staff-less(!) so there is noone around to ask for anything or complain. My work booked me on this hotel and I will make sure they take it off their list of possible hotels for Leiden. AWFUL

Great location. Beautiful room with amazing history.

Great stay in the center of Leiden! Short walk to Central Station. Room 4 was larger than expected and had everything including dishes/cutlery, coffee, toiletries etc. Virtual check-in was quick and easy, and QR code in the room provided lots of useful information for the area. Overall fantastic stay and would highly recommend CTY Books!
