Before any travel, I transfer money to a separate account than my main bank account. Before I had arrived, they attempted to pre-authorize the transaction before the money was in. Upon arrival, I transferred the money in. I was ready to check-in. But I learned that my reservation had been cancelled because pre-authorization failed. HOWEVER, there was a sign on their front desk that they pre-authorize upon check-in. So, why did they pre-authorize before I had even tried to check in. I ended up having to get my room back at a higher rate than I had reserved as no other place in close proximity had vacancies (closest vacancy was 20 minutes away in the opposite direction of the event I was attending). Thankfully, a later manager went out of her way to try and fix the situation. Because of her, I would still recommend this location. I came back to this one because of my trip previously to this one where I had an excellent experience.
