Experience was terrible because of bed bugs. I have several bites. I left in the middle of the night after finding the bug/ showing the desk clerk the picture and where I had smashed it. I saw a second bug one and told the clerk about it as well. I was provided an email but was told they would have to do an investigation before determining a resolution despite me providing a photo and the dead bug.

The hotel has an event center on the first floor. The center is not sound proof and so the sound/noise from the event centre is a nuisance to guest. I experienced that nuisance twice, even up until 2300 hours in the night.

The facility does not have a convenient elevator, or maybe, NO elevator, that is a problem. The tub was clogged, did not provide with clean towels the second day stay. They changed my room number without letting me know so I couldn’t get in my room after a long day. The rate was extremely high for the quality or lack of. They definitely took advantage of the graduation happening at MSU. Will never stay or recommend it to anyone. Many of the graduating families have expressed the same on the school chat groups.

The place is falling apart. Long, dark corridors. Stench of chlorine because the indoor pool is not separated from the rooms. My blanket had what I hope was a coffee stain. The phone in our room was out. There is no water station so they CHARGE for water bottles. Checking in/out was seamless thank god because I could not wait to get out of here.

The staff is amazing!!! The building itself needs some real work, but the biggest disappointment was not having temperature controls in each room. It was extremely warm in our room, and was only worse by morning. The only thing you can do is turn the fan on for the room and that brings in the furnace air from the hotel. No air until summertime then it’s no heat until fall. Very weird.

No air conditioning or any type of fan to circulate air. Either heat or nothing. Room was on inside facing pool second floor and was about 90 degrees in the middle of winter. There was zero ventilation in the room because the bathroom fan did not work and there were no windows. Only way to get air was to leave door open. I was given a box fan but that doesn’t help much when all it does is recirculate the stale l, hot air already in the room. They are aware of the problem because they have a bunch of box fans. Our door had no dead bolt latch and I informed to front desk. Never got fixed. Everything was very dirty, dusty, unfinished. They closed the pool on the weekend, which was main reason we were there. I had two rooms. I asked for a refund or to be switched yo another hotel and they refused. ********** tried to reach the hotel and speak with them but was unable to ever get anyone on the phone. As people were checking in I heard them ask about pool hours. Front desk told them hours but failed to mention the pool was closed. I informed the nice couple before they paid knowing that they wouldn’t give any refund and the people wouldn’t know until they had their money. A few of the front desk were very sympathetic and understood what was happening, but manager and owner that he supposedly spoke with were not. I’m guessing they get people wanting a refund as soon as they step in their room, betting it happens so much that owner just tells manager no refunds

Horrible customer service! Some Kid puked outside of the pool by the gate and they closed the whole pool, I asked about it and was told “pool is closed GM is not Refunding anything”. Could not belive it, air also does not work and the room was 100 degrees, I was told to leave the door open… yah not gonna happen considering it’s not the best condition and not the most trustworthy people! Never ever again!
