Excellent stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was great, with excellent views. The real winner was the food at the restaurant which was absolutely incredible. The food alone will be bringing us back. Our only negative comment was that the lake view windows needed to be cleaned badly. Otherwise an excellent stay in beautiful Lake Placid

Hotel is in the perfect location right on the main street surrounded by shops and restaurants. Rooms are so nice, updated and comfy. Lobby is charming with fireplace and plenty of seating. Front desk and valet very friendly and helpful.

Freshly revovated hotel (former North Woods) now member of the Marriot family. Great look, comfortable beds, clean, great location right in the center of beautiful Lake Placid. The staff was friendly and courteous. Note that there is no self parking, valet service is mandatory and fast. Around 20$ if i remember correctly. I recommend this hotel and would return!

Very nice to stay. Room was lovely except for the lack of hot water when it came time for our showers. And parking is great as long as you get valet parking. Staff were great. Friendly and helpful.

Central location and convenient to dining and shopping on Main Street. Rooms are comfortable but infrastructure is old.
For the price, I would recommend it.

The hotel is located on the main street, but the main entrance is from the parking lot. If there was a parking option, I was offered valet parking for $20
The restaurant closed at 9 o'clock on Sunday. If you are visiting on the weekend, be prepared for this
I really liked the opportunity to have free tea in the lobby
The rooms are large and very clean
