克拉尼斯卡戈拉貝斯特韋斯特飯店(Hotel Kranjska Gora)

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour that we were on. We ate in the hotel both nights and had a good choice of foods from the buffet which had a different choice each night. Very friendly staff two of which stood out -- Nicholas in the restaurant and Ksenija on reception were both cheerful and helpful. I understand that this hotel has just been aquired by another group and will be shut in November for a major upgrade. This will freshen it up and I would love to return. A walk in to town only takes about 8 minutes. There is a large car park and the views from the rooms are stunning mountain scenes. You can walk from the front door of the hotel on a variety of trails.

A, well maintained Hotel, with well stocked bar and a variety of food in the restaurant. Rooms were very spacious some with balconies, the Hotel is well placed for local amenities, bar and restaurants. Ideal for hiking, cycling or skiing. There is a local bus service near by, to the local museum or city centre.

I had a great stay at this hotel, and the food was wonderful! The breakfast was very hearty, and the cook made me a special sandwich each day for my hikes. Dinner was fabulous, and a very good deal! It was great to have a nice fresh salad, and a variety of options from the buffet. I ate in town the first night, and was sorry I didn't eat here every night. Staff in the kitchen and at the front desk were all very friendly and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. My room looked right out at the river and mountains, and with my window open I could hear the river all night. It's a great location for getting around too!

Abbiamo alloggiato in ina camera familiare al 3.piano (325) dal 26.12 al 2.1.22 la camera è molto spaziosa, con un letto matrimoniale e un letto alla francese, un divano, tavolino con 2 sedie, scrivania, tv, bollitore, bagno con vasca (e ascigacapelli) e un capiente armadio con cassaforte. Mancano degli appendini all'esterno per lasciare le giacche. Questo tipo di camera è leggermente mansardata e non ha il balcone (ma solo poche lo hanno). Abbiamo constatato che altre camere più piccole (tipo la 305) ha lo stesso prezzo della 325, perciò vi conviene chiedere quelle più grandi. Buono il buffet a colazione e a cena. Il caffè in sala cattico, meglio quello vicino alla reception. L'unica pecca (segnalata anche al check-out) era Il cenone di capodanno: 65€ adulti, gratis bambini, ma sempre a buffet. Molto scomodo aspettare la mezzanotte, con le pietanze pronte alle 19.00. Doveva essere pensato diversamente-servito, anche il menù non era tanto diverso dagli altri giorni. Area piscina ok, acqua un pò fredda come segnalato da altri. Skiroom con armadietti assegnati ma senza scaldascarponi. Al 2.piano c'è anche un'area giochi per bambini. Nella hall la tv ha netflix per gli ospiti, wifi in tutto l'hotel. Distanza dalle piste reale 5 minuti di camminata tranquilla, è molto comodo. Area parcheggio davanti al hotel. È un hotel anni 70-80 con alcune aree rinnovate. C'è ancora la moquette nei corridoi e nelle camere. Noi ci siamo trovati bene, se i prezzi non saranno ritoccati, ritorneremo perchè ha tutto quello che serve.

Buon hotel, con piscina. Ex catena Best Western. Ottima colazione, buona cena a buffet, buona accoglienza. Struttura un po' datata. Camera non eccessivamente grande, ma giusta per una notte. Buona posizione, tranquilla, nei pressi di Jasna Lake

Posizione ottima, camere spaziose e pulitissime, personale gentile e disponibile, colazione veramente super e cena buona. Un po’ vintage (per nn dire vecchiotto) ma va no problem. Unica pecca: che l’acqua in Slovenia costasse assai era noto ma 15€ per mezzo litro di vino della casa (sia pur discreto) è quasi inaccettabile. PS: il proprietario/gestore la prima sera ci ha offerto amaro e grappa…applausi!!!

Hotel comodo e di buon livello, anche se andrebbe riammodernato, parcheggio ottimo a pochi passi dal centro del paese buona la cena e ottima la colazione. Piscina a disposizione, gradita la macchina per caffe' e bibite a disposizione dei clienti alla reception. Peccato per il letto senza reti sostituite da tavole in legno rumorosissime, veramente un peccato perche il silenzio dei paraggi è totale (no traffico no locali ecc).

Schönes Hotel, super Lage, allerdings renovierungsbedürftig. Personal durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Betten nicht BW Standard. Personal trägt Masken, von den Gästen allerdings kaum jemand und es wurde auch nicht darauf angesprochen

We’ve recently spent the half term week at Hotel Kranjska Gora with friends and had the most wonderful time. The team here really are a different class. The hotel has recently changed ownership and the staff throughout the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful. Everyone was friendly and went out of there way to help and advise, whether it was Ksenija on reception helping with my very limited Slovenian and providing ideas of where to go when the weather wasn’t so great, to Jadran who managed to find excellent local wines every evening at dinner and Nichola who really went the extra mile throughout our stay, helping us with everything from car hire to sampling the local grappa and planning us a trip to Montenegro! The hotel itself is undergoing some renovation, however this is being done in a very subtle way and we weren’t aware of any significant work taking place during our stay. The rooms, bar, restaurant, and food were all excellent and really clean. We had planned to eat out a few nights, however due to the quality of the food and the service provided by the team we ended up eating at the hotel every night! The location of the hotel is superb, 5 minutes walk into town and around 10 minutes walk to the local lake (which really is beautiful as the sun goes down). Whilst our plan was to ski in Kranjska Gora, the weather was against us (too warm and too wet) however the Gerlitzen Alpe across the boarder in Austria was less than 40 mins drive away and being so much higher had great snow. Kransja Gora itself is a pretty little town, with some fun bars and lovely restaurants and the resort itself is really good value for money, however in truth it was the hotel and the staff that really made our holiday, we’re already searching for flights as we’re sure to return soon
