The morning view especially the sunrise was mesmerizing... Loved the cottage we lived in and the staff was really kind and cooperative. The food was decent too and the flavours were delectable. We are really happy to have found this accomodation.

Villa retreat has a rustic charm with its calm and serene surroundings. It's easy to spend your entire holiday within the premises, especially during the summer holiday season where all of the Kodaikanal seems to be bustling with people, you don't want to leave the laid back confines of the property. Food is great. Staff are polite. All in all a great experience.

Overall had a good experience at Villa retreat. The Food was delicious. The views from the resort were exceptionally beautiful. It is a little overpriced. Though.However the location of the place is fantastic.

Villa Retreat is positioned strategically to capture the Kodaikanal view – valley, hills, city et al and a short walk away from the marketplace. We feasted on golden sunrises and a healthy, tasty menu topped by detox to wash away the city blues. And what a pleasant surprise to get the granola bar recipe straight from the chef’s storehouse! Thank you, Praddeep and Chef Shadab for the offbeat exploring tips and a smiling Rebecca and staff for your kind hospitality.

It was a wonderful experience in Villa Retreat. We were 2 families with young kids and stayed for 2 nights . The location is close and walkable distance to the town center and just beside the Croakers walk . Everything from the room amenities, the food , the staff and the chef was an experience that we would cherish for a long time . The room we choose , Signature suite with Fireplace gave a wonderful view of the sunrise . I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family

It was an awful experience , the place , ambience , scenery was exclusive The staff Mr mathew , Mr Shadad and others Wre very warm and helpful, I recommend this stay for everyone who visits Kodaikanal , price is very reasonable and worth for money

Excellent is the only term I may refer to, they had done certain changes that we suggested last year and I m personally very satisfied with such changes, other than that excellent stay, view, hospitality and all credits go to their entire team, please keep up this good work

Special thanks to Chef Hussain for making the stay more delightful with his simple succulent dishes. Sending special regards to Mr. Shankar for welcoming us with a smile and instantly making us feel at home. The rooms were clean and excellent with great views. My favourite is the library corner in the main reception area. I recommend anyone who is looking for a serene place in the middle of the hustling market area. Everything like Bryant park and Market is within walkable distance. - Priti Jani

It was such a pleasant experience. Very good hospitality and the room was neat, calm and tidy. The valley view from the room was breathtaking and the coakers walk is just around the corner. The breakfast at this place is second to none. We loved it. Perfect place to click pictures and visit the nearby tourist attractions.
