Zentrale Lage, Hotel in historischem Gebäude, sehr freundliches Personal, komfortable Zimmer, Kühlschrank vorhanden, Parkplatz im Zimmerpreis inkludiert, viele Lokale in unmittelbarer Umgebung Zeitenweise war es sehr laut, vor allem zeitig in der Früh, kein Aufzug

Nous sommes venus pour demander des infos sur le prix des chambres car in a trouvé l´hôtel très joli en passant devant, mais on a été voyez refroidi une fois à la réception: personne, puis lorsque la réceptionniste est arrivée elle nous a tellement mal accueilli que nous avons changé d´avis.

good business meeting.We enjoyed sitting outside on our deck facing Front Street and the Banyan Tree. Alex the parrot in the beautiful courtyard was fun to visit. Sadly, this 122 year old hotel, the oldest hotel in all of Hawaii, is gone now, the terrible fire destroyed it and the entire town. I hope that the town and its people recover well and rebuild, honoring the history of this special place.

My husband and I stayed at the Pioneer Inn in July 2023 and really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on our deck facing Front Street and the Banyan Tree. Alex the parrot in the beautiful courtyard was fun to visit. Sadly, this 122 year old hotel, the oldest hotel in all of Hawaii, is gone now, the terrible fire destroyed it and the entire town. I hope that the town and its people recover well and rebuild, honoring the history of this special place.

Located on Front Street next to the harbor. Walking distance to many boating activities. Well maintained hotel, but not fancy. Staff is all friendly and helpful. Nice underutilized pool in the center courtyard. Alec, the resident parrot, is always good for a few words. Great breakfast/lunch restaurant and bar on the lower level. Depending on the room location there can be lots of street noise and loud music from bars across the street. We have stayed here in prior years and expected it. Some rooms face away from the street if that doesn’t work for you.

This hotel is located right on Front Street, the main drag of Lahaina. We had a nice room with a small bathroom, but a large shower with good water pressure. Our room came with a refrigerator but no microwave. Our TV remote did not work well, and did not get better when we installed new batteries. Our bed and pillows were quite comfortable but we had an early morning natural wake-up call. We took a room with the balcony facing Front Street and a small park across the street. This park has several roosters, which have decided they need to make noise starting at 3:30 a.m. each day. Tip, take a room with a view of the water if you don't want the noise. Another issue is the hotel does not have an elevator and we had lots of luggage to take to the 2nd floor. Fortunately one of the staff helped us.

I enjoyed my stay in Lahaina at the Best Western. It is a nice Hotel. It has a lot of character. Reminds me of the old days but completely updated for todays traveler. It is centrally located right in the center of town with great harbor views. I would recommend adding a Laundry room. It is inconvenient for washing clothes.

We stayed at the Pioneer Inn 6 years ago and had planned to stay again in 2020 but had to cancel due to the Pandemic. This time we stayed 5 nights and were in a room facing the Banyan Tree Park which we had requested. The room has a verandah with a table and 2 Adirondack rocking chairs. The room was just the right size for my husband and I, the bed was very comfortable, there was a fan over the bed as well as A/C. We mostly used the fan. The staff members Mark, Samantha, and Kiely were the best! They were so helpful and always said if we had any questions or problems to let them know. Our fan broke near the end of our stay, and Mark had an electrician come in the next day and replace it with a new one. We were amazed that this was done so quickly. They really know how to take care of their guests!

The only thing great about this hotel is the location. There is no elevator so plan on dragging your luggage up some stairs. You must park your car a couple of blocks away and hope it doesn’t rain. The staff was great but the hotel was run down. I felt that it was very expensive for what i got but you can’t beat the location.

The staff are exceptionally caring and helpful. There is free parking (important value). We go a room with a great view of the harbor. The room was very clean with an updated bathroom. Careful... the rooms are upstairs with no elevator. Great location for the city activities.

The Pioneer Inn is a fantastic place to stay in the historical heart of Maui. Don't expect the latest in flashy decor, but do expect a traditional lanai and a comfortable bed. The bathrooms have been updated as well.

This is an old building, but holds old building charm. It is near the water, and all of the touristy town is walkable. Our room had a second story patio that overlooked the pool, and was open to a very nice courtyard. My wife and I are early risers, so we liked the morning chatter of chickens and birds. One bird, Alex, an African Grey tropical bird was the morning star. He talks, whistles, and eats bacon and eggs. He is cared for by the staff, and the staff member we met that was very delightful as well as helpful was Kiley. My wife and I would go back to the Pioneer anytime.

Right opposite the bustling harbour and Banyan Tree Park and close to Front Street.Easy access to such an interesting historical town. The Inn met all our needs. Helpful staff with cudos to Samantha and Mark.

Right in the heart of Lahaina. We had an interior courtyard side room for which we were grateful as it was much quieter than rooms facing the public courtyard or Main Street… but if you like people watching or hanging out and kibitzing with outsiders then go for an exterior room. But we like it quiet so we were happy. There is a room air conditioner… prior reviews said they are noisy but no noisier than a regular window air conditioner. It is a unit up above the window so it doesn’t black your views. That way you can also turn it off and enjoy the breezes. The lanai overlooking the inside courtyard was nice in the morning for tea or evening for relaxing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. When we asked where to rent beach chairs they said they had a pair left behind , and a cooler, which they let us borrow and that was a real cost saver because we could then pack our drinks and a lunch for our outings. But it’s not like there were a bunch to borrow… just 2 chairs… so don’t count on it, but we were lucky enough to borrow them on our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The local roosters do crow … starting early… but we enjoyed it. If your room in interior courtyard you will also enjoy the litany of songs from Alex the parrot/macaw (not sure what he was) but we did not find this bothersome. We sort of liked hearing his Andy Griffith tune and his little run through of musical phrases. We did not use the pool but other people did… it’s not overly large… but big enough for a small group to enjoy. It was clean. The whole hotel did a good job of being clean and what you expect from Best Western. We always enjoy when we stay BW and have never had a bad experience. The banyan tree next door is amazing. The restaurant is expensive but the food was good. We had breakfast… once… food was delicious but we needed to find a few more budget conscious options for our other days. Being right near a bunch of restaurants and shops was handy. Being right in the wharf area made it really convenient to catch 2 of the adventures we had planned which departed from there. They provide a window tag for complimentary parking in a nearby lot. We would definitely stay there again.
