Club Getaway

I have gone to CGA 9 years in a row. Its is a must for me every Summer. The camp is pristine, the cabins are AC'd with electricity, the food is on point ad the Staff is always amazing. The best art of CGA is there is something for everyone. If you want to be active, partake in the events and archery, zip lines etc. If you want to be lazy and I prefer this, lay out at the lake. The weekend can be a party or it can be a time to turn off, the choice is yours. I highly recommend this cam, they are so attentive to every detail whether an event or just a reg weekend. If you go and dont have a good time its a "you" problem, not a "them"

I had such a wonderful weekend at Club Getaway. The staff were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The cabins we stayed in were so cozy and rustic. The whole area is so beautiful too, being able to get out in nature was very nice and refreshing. I can not wait to come back another weekend!

Lemme tell yall clubgetaway is nasty, do not go here and I mean it DONT GO HERE, there has been rat cases and it’s true. The bugs there everywhere, I feel something crawling on me every second and it’s scary. The food oh my gosh , tears are falling

Fun and fantastic for the whole family -- great experience -- so many wild and wacky activities, plus a gorgeous lake in the mountains. Food is just fine not amazing but you are not cooking it so that's the point -- cabins are basic and have A/C but not much more. Comfy and clean. Staff is EXCEPTIONAL -- so great with the kids. We have been going for 5 years now and it's our highlight ever year. We live in Brooklyn -- lots of BK familes and also very diverse.

Literally CHEAPER than ANY price of AirBnB you will find for a long holiday weekend. ANY weekend longer than 2 days is well worth coming here. The organizers are PHENOMENAL about keeping with all the room for activities. Even if you want to hang out by the lake all day, you can do that too. I went here in 2008 for my Junior trip in High School & it felt so good to be back to actually enjoy things to do. PLZ GO HERE!!! (also, i heard this place is wayy more fun & better vibez than CampNoCounslors...but you didnt hear that from me ;)

I didn’t like it. We arrived early in the morning and did these climbing activities that were ok. Then we went in the lake, which was freezing, but the blow up slides made it fun. Then we ate lunch. The food was great and was in buffet style. There were Oreos and brownies for desert. We did a ropes course which was fun along with a giant swing. The dinner was great, with tacos and burgers. They had cake for desert this time. There was a basketball court and a volleyball net as well. The worst part though, was the sleeping situation. I was crammed in a small cabin with five bunk beds with eight people and one bathroom. It was hard and painful getting up to my bed which was at the top of the bunk, and it was very uncomfortable. Overall, I had a bad experience, but I will still recommend it for people to give it a shot.

I've been at least 4 times and have made it a yearly staple as it is SO MUCH FUN! I've been with my ski club as a bonding trip, a bachelorette trip, when they used to have an OUT weekend and just for one of their Sports themed weekends. The staff is amazing and go out of their way to make sure you have fun. There are so many fun activities to chose from that it's so hard to choose but if you also wanted to just go and hang out by the lake and enjoy the view you can do that too! (and with a drink in your hand!) I really can't say enough good things about it. I'm going back this summer and cannot wait!

10 stars!! If you are stressed and tired of being an adult - Camp getaway is the place you need to go to next weekend! This is the perfect summer camp FOR ADULTS!! Only 90minutes away from New York City, this camp is the perfect getaway! The cost is about $500 per person, which include all meals, activities, and entertainment for the duration of the stay as well accommodations in a rustic cabin. Pick fun & adventurous activities while meeting new friends and just HAVE FUN!!
