Room wasn’t ready when we got there after 5pm, due to washer/dryer breaking. Not their fault. We got to the room the floor was sticky, there was still garbage from previous people who were in the room, and the bathroom wasn’t completely clean. We were only at the hotel for one night, so we tried to overloook all the things, but a sticky for couldn’t be ignored.

Front desk staff was nice each time.The guy in housekeeping either wouldn't or couldn't assist when I saw him in the hall and asked about towels. There were 3 housekeeping carts in the hall and he had towels in his hand. He asked if I could please ask the front desk because he had 8 rooms to take care of and 8 was alot. I chose this hotel due to soundproofing but when the room next door was occupied, I could hear everything thus impacting my stay.

The girl who checked me in was unpleasant. She acted like I was bothering her and she wanted me to just go away. Also, if you park a car on property, they should tell you at checkin that you have to keep your door key to get out of the parking lot. I was not happy waiting to get out when I was trying to get to the airport on time.

I was a huge fan of The Doubletree before this last stay in Kenner Louisiana airport location. Upon arrival, the outside of the hotel reeked of urine. I also noticed the halls smelled of a chemical / insecticide in which that pre warned us there were bugs. The room has dingy white linen and towels. The bed was worn out and my back was hurting from being uncomfortable in a bed that was made up with what seemed to be only sheets, plus the pillows were not quality. I've always been in love with the beds at Doubletree and I refuse to believe that this is a legitimate Hilton property. The next day I asked the house keeper to place an additional comforter in my room and she said ok. That comforter never came ! I called the front desk to request towels and comforter and people kept telling me they would bring it up, or notify housekeeping . I called the desk from 11am- 10pm ( I was falling asleep and waking up) to receive clean towels and an additional comforter. I had to leave my bed at 10pm to go to the front desk for a comforter. The attendant on that night was a polite younger black woman and I appreciated her efforts BUT the towels she brought out were dingy, they didn't have clean face towels and the comforter was thin like a sheet and also very dingy looking. The customer service was POOR! This location is not of quality and reminded me of a motel that truckers frequent alongside the busy highways . I WOULD NEVER EVER BOOK HERE AGAIN.

The hotel in general was fine, but the staff at check in was a bit dismissive, they didn’t give any info, just handed me my key & looked at me. I forgot I should have gotten my Doubletree cookie at check-in, which I didn’t get. Later I asked about the parking & if I should have parked as I did because I didn’t want to get double-billed & I was dismissed again, like I was bothering the front desk person. The room was fine, but the pillows just flattened & the bathroom had very poor lighting, the sink dripped constantly & clearly had got a long time because the sink was rusted at the dripping spot. There was no counter space, just a single sink, so nowhere to put toiletries. The shower never got hot water, ether. I was pleasantly greeted at check out & when I asked if they still gave cookies at check-in, she apologized & gave me a cookie, so that was nice. She also made a note to get the sink fixed from dripping, so I hope someone fixes it. Nothing horrible, just an ok stay.

Dirty bathroom, cold room. Terrible hotel shuttle- the driver was the cook because the regular shuttle van was under repair for 3 days.

Some front desk employees were friendly some were not. The parking charges were not explained as daily and not other safe options are available. The shower faucet was not labeled correctly to use hot water was a guess to set. Ice machine is only on odd floors I had to walk up and down stairs to get ice. Only one microwave available and it was at the front desk. This hotel is inconvenient for longer stays.

This is a basic but adequate airport hotel. It is extremely clean and the people at the front desk as well as the cleaning people were exceptionally nice and helpful. It was very helpful that they gave us bottled water for room and the warm chocolate chip cookies are delicious. This is not a fancy hotel but I would stay there again. There was also a free airport shuttle and that was also very helpful.
