艾勒瓦納恩戈羅恩戈羅莊園飯店(Elewana the Manor Ngorongoro)

Siamo stati in questa struttura per due notti non consecutive durante il nostro Safari al Ngorongoro National park. Dopo una “strada” a tratti impervia, si arriva a questo elegante lodge in stile Olandese, immerso nelle piantagioni di caffè e circondato da uno splendido prato verde molto curato. La nostra camera era veramente molto grande, pulita e riordinata due volte al giorno. La sera ci hanno fatto trovare nel letto le borse dell’acqua calda, cosa che abbiamo MOLTO apprezzato. Cena e colazione ottime sotto la supervisione del simpatico e professionale Shariff. Personale gentilissimo attento ad ogni dettaglio. L’ultima sera hanno apparecchiato solo per noi una splendida tavola a bordo piscina e acceso anche il camino. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e siamo stati davvero bene. CONSIGLIATISSIMO

The Manor at Ngorongoro was the last lodge on our Kenya-Tanzania safari, and it is the perfect location for the return from tent camp style to a grand colonial estate. The main house is palatial, with its reception hall, bar/club room with fireplace, and its restaurant with a beautiful terrace. Food and service is outstanding, and it is a safe bet to follow the general manager’s recommendation for a matching bottle of excellent South African wine. The Manor Cottages are a delight in layout and decoration, and with its impeccable service, the Manor brings you back from safari to first world luxury hotel standards. The game drive to the crater was well organized and guided, and we were lucky that the peak season crowds had left already when we visited. If one could make a wish, it would be for an improvement of the access road, which was quite a rollercoaster ride after the recent rainfalls. We would certainly recommend the Manor to anyone looking for a 5-star home base for visiting the Ngorogoro crater, and particularly as a final stop of a traditional tent lodge safari.

Definitely a high-end option but no doubt the money goes into the facilities and giving you an exceptional experience. Personalised touches were impressive including a bath ready and waiting day two after noticing I'd had one the first day, and special Christmas Day dinner arrangements made just for me as a solo traveller. All staff were terrific, but my driver/guide Peter was absolutely a highlight - exceptional skills (wet weather made some of the driving quite challenging) and knowledge as well as delightful company.

The grounds at The Manor are breathtaking, and extremely well manicured and maintained. Our room was quaint and comfortable, and the personalized service from our butler, Glory, was fantastic. The food was gourmet, and while it was a limited menu, there were plenty of selections. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel provided us with private dining on our last night, making us feel very special. We highly recommend The Manor at Ngorongoro!

Un numero di lodge volutamente ridotto in stile elegantemente coloniale circondate da piante e alberi molto curati, pertanto una clientela poco numerosa. Servizio impeccabile e premuroso personalmente mi è stata di molto aiuto Glory. Soggiorno molto gradevole e riservato.

Tolles weitläufiges Anwesen im Kolonialstil mit grosszügigen Zimmern. Ein grosses Bad, ein gemütliches kingsize Bett sowie eine eigene Kaffeestation und Minibar gehören zur Standardausstattung der Zimmer. Alle Mitarbeiter waren allesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war köstlich. Wir (vierköpfige Familie mit zwei Mädchen im Alter von 12 & 9) können The Manor Ngorongoro mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Summary: A nice manor experience with a great stay. Details: It is a large beautiful property. We were greeted with a warm wet towel when we arrived and after return from our out of manor activities. The rooms were very nice. The staff were amazing and talked to each of us individually to get to know us. Butler made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Massage was complimentary for our booking and was exceptionally good. The horseback riding and the bean to coffee tour were also complimentary and enjoyable. Laundry was available with a quick turnaround time. They offered many food and drink options. Chef prepared some Indian dishes we requested that were not even on the menu and they were delicious and authentic. Pili pili was provided when we requested for something spicy and it was exceptionally delicious. When we went to see the crater, we were surprised to find some tasty Indian dishes in the picnic basket lunch also. Hot bath with rose petals was set up by the time we returned to the manor house which was a pleasant surprise and well suited to relax after a long day. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay with relaxation in between safaris.
