王亭飯店(Kings Pavilion Luxury Hotel)

A very easy place to be with wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality. Our room was amazing and super comfortable with lots of space and amazing views of the trees and the monkeys were very entertaining. The food was great! The Sri Lankan curry was delicious and huge!

Wir haben insgesamt zwei wunderbare Nächte hier in Kandy verbracht. Wir haben bei unser Ankunft ein Upgrade bekommen in eine Suite, die wirklich außerordentlich beeindruckend war, vielen Dank dafür noch einmal! Der Service und die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter war sehr angenehm. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die kleine und feine, fast familiäre Atmosphäre. Der Pool lädt zum abkühlen ein und man sitzt zum Frühstück und zum Abendessen mit herrlichem Ausblick auf der Terrasse. Vielen Dank für die beiden wundervollen Tage!

Fabulous spacious room with a great bathroom and private deck area. Rooms are very clean and the array of towel animals were brilliant! Lovely grounds and a nice pool area. Staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We have rated this as a 4 rather than a 5 because of the cost of the food. We stayed in 5 excellent hotels (all 5*) whilst in Sri Lanka and the food here was at least 30% more than the second most expensive. We spoke to a couple of others who felt the same that the food was very overpriced (but tasty). As an example the Sri Lankan curry was $33 whilst at another hotel we stayed in it was $13! Wine was also very expensive at $13 a glass. It just felt excessive and it took the shine off it a bit.

This is a really lovely small hotel in the hills in Kandy, and we really enjoyed our 24 hours at the hotel. It’s a lovely property with a splendid lawn and lap pool overlooking the town. We were upgraded to the two junior suites, which are separate from the main hotel – and they are lovely. Dinner and breakfast were fine – exceptional service, but some of the dishes didn’t quite hit the mark, but beautifully served on the terrace. It’s a shame we only had a day here, but it’s a lovely intimate hotel with fantastic service moments from the city centre.

An excellent boutique hotel tucked away above the hustle and heat of Kandy. Wonderful large, clean rooms and very helpful staff. I gave it only 4 because we made the mistake of ordering European food on our 2nd night which was very poor; tough meat and raw vegetables! Our meal the previous evening was an excellent Sri Lankan curry, so the contrast could not have been worse. The hotel staff were embarrassed and apologetic and provided us with a pack up lunch for our onward journey foc. Food aside, the hotel’s position provided us with spectacular views and an escape from the city.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel parfaitement situé dur les hauts de Kandy. Très belle vue . Les chambres sont très confortables, le design de l'hôtel est moderne et de très bon gout, la cuisine est délicieuse et le service attentionné. Mention spéciale aussi pour le jardin et la piscine, beau bassin de nage à débordement.

King’s Pavilion accommodation was beautiful! Our room was remarkably huge and relaxing. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating staff. We had a great dinner and breakfast! Would recommend staying at this lovely location.
