This Ryokan is lovely, Bungo is super nice and he helped as a lot! His recommendations for restaurants, places to visit are awesome too ! We had a great time in this guesthouse and would love to come back next time!

This is a family home with several guest rooms. We had the largest room with bath and toilet. Comfortable bedding is on the floor with a lovely view of the garden from western-style chairs on the verandah. The ryokan has a family-size onsen where you can bathe privately with your partner. Location is a 15 minute walk to the station but close to the sights. Free wifi.

We had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Yamamuro! Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very quiet. The family that runs the inn couldn't have been nicer. They were extremely gracious, responsive, and easy to communicate with, and they gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit in Kanazawa and restaurants to try. They helped make our time in Kanazawa one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Japan!

I can't recommend Ryokan Yamamuro highly enough. The room was light and spacious and spotlessly clean. Bungo and his mum are amazing hosts helping us with all aspects of our travel planning. The ryokan is located within easy walking distance to many attractions- Ohmicho market is just a few minutes walk up the road. Fabulous stay here!
