The Smoky Mountain National Park and Cataloochee Valley area are few miles away with quick access to amazing day hikes, breathtaking vistas, waterfalls and rivers, and the world-renowned Blue Ridge Parkway.. The cabin is only a short drive to the Cataloochee Ski Area while the City of Asheville, with all its great restaurants, shops, breweries, art galleries, architectural marvels, and funky/hip yet sophisticated vibe is a mere thirty-five minutes away. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is easy, while Waynesville and Maggie Valley offer restaurants, grocery and drug stores, wine cellars, antique shops and most anything else you might require. Take amazing day trips, hikes, and adventures, and return to your cozy cabin to recoup and relax for the evening.Sugar Cabin is fully stocked with furnishings, appliances, linens, kitchen ware, etc., accommodates up to five people, (4 adults and 1 children) with two in the principal bedroom in a hickory pole king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, two in the guest room with a queen-sized bed, and one in the open living area on a high-quality inflatable queen-sized bed. The living area and principal bedroom open, via sliding glass doors, to the expansive wood deck with rocking chairs, Adirondack chairs, a swinging bench, a fire table and a Bristol table ideal for relaxing while enjoying views of the valley below and mountains beyond. Entertainment is provided by a new 65-inch 4K smart TV (Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, etc.) in the living area, as well as a TV with Roku in the principal bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with enough plates and utensils for large families and gatherings. We are recently just added a Keurig Duo with a drip coffee pot. With this we provide you with a complimentary drip coffee starter pack. The newly converted garage has been turned into a game room, which includes a TV with a DVD player that can connect to Netflix through WIFI, a full size pool table, foose ball table, chalk board wall, giant connect four, checkers lots of board games and much more!The top floor offers serene views from both of the two bedrooms each with a Queen bed and a shared bathroom. The lower basement level includes two bedrooms, and a full bathroom- first bedroom has one queen bed, and the other room has 3 bunk beds (4 twins and 2 doubles), there is also a large living room with Cable TV to enjoy the big game.This is your opportunity to get in touch with mother-nature and disconnect from the world. Christmas Tree Cabins is as you would imagine. A hand-crafted cabin in the middle of a Christmas tree farm. This brand-new vacation rental was built with you in mind and sits on a knoll with an 80-year-old red barn and mountain views from every window. You are five minutes to Maggie Valley, ten minutes to Waynesville, and thirty minutes to Asheville, NC. You will find yourself close to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Maggie Valley and Cataloochee for horse-back riding, snow skiing and elk watching.We built the cabin of 600 square feet, from the ground up with you, our guest in mind. A rustic old-style home with modern convenience. The style uses old barn wood, popular tree bark, rusty metal and 100-year-old tobacco sticks on the deck. We used 5 panel doors from the 1920s and finished the floors with hickory and oak hardwoods. Many of these items we collected over years and held in our barn just in case… and they are perfect for this guest cabin.The ceiling is tongue and groove with exposed beams. And the accent walls are barnwood. The layout has a private bedroom with the bathroom inside. There is a sleeper sofa in the living area to sleep two additional guests.You have a private drive and parking is to the side for easy access even in the winter. Around the cabin you have some gorgeous views of the North Carolina mountains.You can enjoy some outside time on your private deck. Or if you choose to stay inside and relax, there is a wide screen television that offers satellite tv choices. There is cell service.The amenities included are exactly those you will need while visiting. The Bird House consist of 2 complete separate suites Upstairs-Blue Bird Suite Sleeps 2, Downstairs-Cardinal Suite Sleeps 4.The space**You are just reserving the Blue Bird Suite(Upstairs Suite), not the entire cabin.There are 2 suites (One upstairs- The Blue Bird Suite- Sleeps 2, and one downstairs- The Cardinal Suite-Sleeps 4.) Both have separate parking spots and entrances, with not connection to the other. The Blue Bird Suite is a nice quite getaway for two or a nice separation from a large family gathering. The Blue Bird Suite is the Upper level of the Bird House and comfortably accommodates 2 guest without losing its cozy secluded charm. The intimate open area with the Queen bed, across from the fireplace will give you a cozy nights rest.
