I am a tour guide of 25 pax Iranian group in NG hotel, everybody likes it much more, Nice Rooms, great atmosphere, breakfast and dinner very very well, high speed wifi in every floor, only one request with answer no is the hotel has not weight scales to weight suitcases for foreign flights... I thought it was VERY inconvenient to not be able to expense meals/drinks/services to my room to have just one final bill. For business travelers, this implies needing to report and expense several bills instead of just one upon check-out. Second, the food quality at the restaurant was subpar, to say the least. Once, I ordered a medium/rare T-steak. It arrived overcooked, on a bed of BBQ sauce (WHY?!), and it was the hardest meat I'd eaten in years, it was very disappointing. Third, the spa. I booked a 50min massage at the hammam. While I was there, there were 2 teen guests talking very loud, yelling, clapping on the water recipients, etc. I had to tell them myself to please be quiet, while I was covered in foam (this should be done by the person delivering the massage at the first sign of noise and disrespect), yet they continued doing their own show. Fourth, when I left, I looked at the clock and the massage had finished after 32min, when I paid for 50min one. Fifth: The coffee machine at the buffet is old and delivers only water when you press the coffee-vanilla option, and for the rest of them it's an unsavory, watery diluted coffee. Totally not what you'd expect from this sort of hotel. The only good think I found during my stay were the premises, which are new and tidy. I don’t think I would come back.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip in January. For price, quality, cleanliness, features, and staff that make you feel welcome, there won't be a better hotel to stay in this whole city. Whether it be business or social, everything and everyone is catered for. Lovely rooms, good food and a great gym with spa treatments available are just some of the features that make this hotel a standout. The best feature for me was the North Shield. A bar area which wouldn't look out of place back home due to its heritage style decorations, surrounded in a good old pub atmosphere. That being said, the North Shield wouldn't be as good as it is, if it weren't for the great staff working there. Berkan, Seda and Ali are extremely good at their jobs and deserve recognition for making the experience as good as it was. Very friendly, helpful, and would even listen to me when I had drank a few (they deserve a medal for this alone). I encourage anyone who stays at the hotel to visit the North Shield to experience their great hospitality. The hotel should reward their staff for their hard work and endeavour. Keep up the good work team !!! Look forward to staying again. I wouldn't be staying anywhere else in this city.
