諾斯托斯飯店(Hotel Nostos)

Posizione perfetta a due passi dal porticciolo di Friekes e di Kioni e a 1 km dal centro di Stavros tipico paesino Greco che si anima la sera con splendide locande. Niki e Andrea sono deliziosi, cordiali e disponibili e rendono il soggiorno nel loro hotel una bellissima esperienza. Le stanze essenziali ma pulitissime con cambio biancheria ogni 2 giorni, colazione ricca e abbondante gestita dagli occhi attenti di Andrea, una piscina immersa immersa tra i fiori per chi volesse avere un attimo di relax dal mare incantato di Itaca. Vacanza super!

Fantastic Hotel the owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean, all staff very friendly. The pool and surrounding area was well kept. Ithaca is simply a lovely island and I am sure we would venture back at sometime? The restaurants were extremely good and we had several long walks.

This was out third visit to the Nostos Hotel, always towards the end of the season when it is quieter, but standards remain high. Nicki and her husband have built up the hotel and run it like clockwork. Everywhere is clean and fresh, breakfast is good, and the large pool is very well maintained. I think that this may be the only pool on Ithaca. Nicki is so helpful, making all the local travel arrangements, car hire, etc., and she kindly makes us packed food to take on the early starts to the ferry.. We can so recommend a visit to the Nostos for a quiet, simple, and rejuvenating break on a beautiful Greek island; to enjoy sunshine, the sea, and good food at the abundant restaurants.

First time in Ithaca and we were fortunate to stay in this wonderful family-run small hotel in Frikes for 4 nights. Nicky and family made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was unique. Listed as a 2 star - not sure why as it it at least 3. Pool is fab and the breakfasts are superb. Rooms have a fridge and very comfortable. We left for an early boat and was sent away with a packed breakfast. Frikes is a lovely small port with great restaurants. Wonderful family-run hotel in an idyllic location a stone's throw from the sea. Ithaca is a stunning island and Hotel Nostos is the perfect base. We stayed in a large, comfortable room with air con, WiFi, hot shower, TV, fridge and a great view towards Frikes harbour. Generous breakfast, lovely pool and bar. Nicki's food is fab - highly recommend the Greek starter dishes - the stuffed peppers, feta in filo, and fried cheese we're super tasty - and the beers are cold and the wine delicious. Transfers and taxis around the island are all arranged, and at reasonable prices. A special, quiet and relaxing holiday all round. Wish we'd booked for longer.

We've just returned from a wonderful, relaxing two week stay at the lovely Nostos Hotel. We feel like we hit the jackpot! The hotel is everything we wanted - small, unpretentious and welcoming - and Frikes was a brilliant location too, with a choice of pretty beaches, a really good choice of tavernas on our doorstep and lovely local walks to explore. We chose to not hire a car but used the local taxi firm, recommended by Nicky, and the bus to get further afield. We really enjoyed a walk/swim to Kioni one day and, also took a taxi to the monastery above Exogi before slowly meandering down via Exogi, the Homer School and Stavros to the hotel. Stunning views! We were also really lucky to time our stay with the festivals at Stavros and Frikes. Nicky and her team work very hard and do an amazing job - the whole hotel is really clean and the pool was lovely. We loved winding down there, surrounded by the trees, listening to the goats and watching the swallows. The food available at lunchtime was great too. Nicky is a real problem solver and when there were issues with one of our transfers she leapt in to help us. Many thanks for our brilliant holiday.

Great hotel, very clean rooms, pleasant environment and friendly personnel! Great location- close to the sea! Beaches within walking distance! Very helpful front desk! Pristine pool! PS. The best burger on the island!

Lovely family hotel in a small port village run by Nicki and Andreas. They are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The food and breakfast are excellent and there is a decent pool, that hardly seems used. The hotel is very quiet indeed, and probably not best suited to large noisy parties or groups of teenagers.

This hotel is a little gem. It’s a stone’s through from the sleepy harbour village of Frikes on the island of Ithaca. Nicki, the owner, did a brilliant job of arranging for our transfer from Kefalonia Airport, and kept us fully informed right from the start. She was also extremely helpful about arranging taxis etc for exploring the island. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals eggs and pastries. And they were happy to serve us a simple lunch around the pool on the one day when we chose not to eat in a taverna. The room was spacious and clean, with air-con, and even better, a lovely ceiling fan to keep us cool. There was a fridge, and a safe provided, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely view from the balcony across the village to the sea. To be honest, the only puzzling thing was why the hotel only gets a two star rating. In our view it most certainly deserves more.
