Our first stay at a BnB and did so due to the wonderful reviews. Happy to confirm they are accurate. Rob and Ian are cordial hosts and the property is wonderfully placed whether you are enjoying downtime without moving or to explore the region. We stayed in the Orion which is a great space for a longer visit and has its own 'Balinese' terrace (albeit the lock was a little tricky). The bed was very comfortable and the room has extras such as a minibar (so a fridge for use) dressing gowns, toiletries, good quality clothes hangers etc The in-house massage is a must! We will undoubtedly make a return visit.

We had the chance to do a last minute weekend getaway and found the Starhaven Retreat online by accident. Lux facilities, stunning views and wonderful 5 star hosts. We immediately unwound and had a completely relaxed weekend with our hosts recommending great local things to do and see. We will definitely be back!

Stylish B&B with unexpected luxuries such as a basement cinema and massive rooms. The hosts go above and beyond to please, make you feel right at home, engage in stimulating conversation, and make excellent recommendations for local food, wine and activities. You won't be disappointed.

Starhaven was just a beautiful place to stay. The Orion suite was spacious with adjoining living space. Rob and Ian were great hosts as was Mickey!! Breakfast and all amenities were great. Indoor spa sauna and cinema room. Gorgeous house close to beach and Portarlington.

Amazing house with awesome hosts. Highly recomend for a relaxing getaway. Spa, sauna, massage, cinema, pooltable and enjoyable breakfasts. Robert and Ian go out of their way to provide you with everything you need so you can just switch off and relax. Wish we had stayed longer..

I cannot rate the experience at Starhaven highly enough. From the time Robert and Ian opened their door we were thoroughly spoilt. Their 3 story Abnb was amazing. Not just the views of the bay (right opposite the beach) sunsets and sunrises from rooms. Wonderful lounges, huge spa and steam room. Sauna billiard table and Cinema complete with popcorn, any drink you desire and to top off icecreams. Breakfast completes you stay with Ian and Robert such charming hosts and a pleasure to spend time with. Cant forget gorgeous Micky's welcome either. The 4 bedrooms with ensuites are huge with balconies as well. Will definitely return. Great place to stay with friends.
