Tolle Anlage, großzügiges Apartment - es war alles vorhanden. Lediglich die Klimaanlage haben wir als sehr laut empfunden. Nachts kann man sie eher nicht laufen lassen aber es gibt in jeden Raum auch Deckenventilatoren, die sehr gut und leise funktionieren.

The staff at the Wyndham Kona was awesome, especially Joy, the woman who helped us make a lei. The front desk staff was very helpful. Our room smelled clean, but on closer examination the carpet needed cleaning and the area around the kitchen faucet needed attention. Probably due for a remodel. The facilities were good, but we wish there was something happening at the bar area of the pool. Our deck overlooked the pool/hot tub courtyard which was lovely, and not noisy. The grounds are nicely maintained. The only negative aspect was that we had trouble confirming our reservation. After my husband read reviews about people arriving and not having a reservation, I called the resort a number of weeks before our arrival. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant, but unable to confirm, suggesting that I call trip.com. Trip.com confirmed the reservation, and explained that they had sent a file to the resort, and the resort must not have opened it yet. I called a week later, and received the same information, so I asked trip.com to contact the resort, which they did. I believe that I made three calls to the resort and three calls to trip.com before the reservation was confirmed by Wyndham about a week before our arrival, which was a bit of a hassle, but everyone I spoke to was pleasant and tried to help. One person in a review said that they checked in late, after four I believe, and there was a problem with their reservation, but that wasn't an issue for us. We gave the resort our flight arrival time of 2:30, and they told us that we wouldn't be able to check in until 4pm, and we might as well go to Costco, which we did. Everything was fine.

If you don’t have a rental car skip this one. It is a timeshare property and of. Course they want you to try and buy one. Nice condos but NO amenities. Not even a coke or ice machine. I thought we were booking something different. And you have to walk a mile and a half to get to any restaurant! Taxis on Ilona are practically nonexistent. Just beware.

The two bedroom two bath bungalow was very spacious. All kitchen items were provided and made it easy to cook or barbecue outside. Some of the furniture in the living room was dated. I’d prefer wood floor over carpets throughout the bungalow. The bed was extremely comfortable and the lanai was very relaxing.

Nice, family friendly property. Units were a little outdated but were equipped with everything we needed including a cooler (which was nice to take on day trips). We would definitely stay there again.

Loved the resort! nice that the were 2 different pools in different locations. The rooms them self are big and beds were comfy (perhaps a lil renovation would be needed ;)) At the reception they were nice and helpful!

Conveniently located near the shoreline with beaches nearby as well as dining and shopping. The place was very well maintained inside and outside. Sitting on the large lanai was the perfect way to start and end the day.

House is big, not far from downtown, save and peaceful. A bit of annoying with the 4:00pm to check in and 10:00am to check out.

Overall, a very nice experience that was perfect for what our family (couple + 2 year old + 5 month old) needed. The property is very convenient to the local scene, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the property is well maintained. The facilities and rooms are definitely showing some where and tear. And if anyone at Wyndham is reading this: you need to replace the flickering horror movie lights in every room! Otherwise, it was very pleasant and a total deal for what you get relative to other places.

It was not property closer to the sea. There was no room service for changing towels, trash cleaning, etc. (even our stay was for more than a week.

The staff are friendly. They responded quickly to our questions. After all, this property is old. It makes up with the spacious space and location. They won’t bother you with maids. That is eco friendly. We do not need to change towels and sheets everyday. It would be great if the facilities are also upgraded.

Loved the view from our lanai with the natural area behind the building! Pool was nice as well, and they put our family in the same building (3 families traveling together)

Easy check in, then chat with concierge regarding facilities. Suggestion to attend timeshare sales pitch but no pressure and easy to decline.2 bedroom unit both rooms with ensuite. Full kitchen, washer and dryer and lounge area. Lovely grounds and two pools. Easy walk to restaurants nearby.
