哈蒂斯堡溫德姆麥客達套房飯店(Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hattiesburg)

For a quick getaway, for the price, it was perfect. The bed was too firm for me and only complaint is no coffee extras ie. sugar, creamer in my room. In the lobby had coffee 24/7 but early morning I don’t want to run down to get coffee.

Arrived at 10 pm. Card didn't work to open room. I had to go down to the Front Desk three times before I was given a new card. Also, had food that needed to be refrigerated. First time I stayed in a hotel where a fridge was not available.

I have stayed at this location several times over the past few years. It was built in 2007, so it is showing some wear, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is always great, and the price is right. When in Hattiesburg, I will probably choose Microtel.

The biggest complaint was the inability to take a hot shower. The hot water in the sink was nearly scalding hot. However, the shower barely got luke warm. If you prefer taking cold showers, this is the hotel for you, otherwise go somewhere else. The other complaint is we stayed multiple days but we're only given one packet of coffee. Not to mention the coffee was horrible. You'd find better coffee at the gas station across the street. Next time I travel to Hattiesburg I will be staying somewhere else.

Pros: staff were super nice, friendly, and helpful since the moment I check in. The room had just enough what I needed. The breakfast had good options and the pancake machine was very interesting to look at. There’s an option to do your own laundry on coin washer and dryer. There’s lots of parking spaces. Cons: Every night I had issues with card key to access the room, I’d have to go to the front desk to have it fixed. I could hear everything from the room next door, the walls seemed to be very thin, as well as the ceiling, I could hear the guest above walk around. The WiFi isn’t really good, the signal is very weak and it’s kinda difficult to connect to it, the best spot to get WiFi is the lobby.

There was no fridge in the room. So you can't keep drinks over night. And the toilet in my room did not want to flush at some points.

The hotel was in a convenient location to the highway, and there were plenty of places to eat and shop.
