拉斯托利亞魯比飯店(Eliana Ruby Hotel & Travel)

The room was incredibly small, and the view from window resembled a dumpyard. Unfortunately, i couldnt open the window, leading to a constant feeling of suffocation. Although front desk initially agreed to refunds or room change, the promise was retracted just 5 minutes later, leaving me unsatisfied with the overall service. Food area is again very small, you will have to wait in queue just to get a table. Moreover, if you are a vegetarian, you just have fruits and a veg sandwich for you everyday.

Fue un hotel de paso pero la verdad es que necesita un gran lavado de cara , en la habitación tenía un escritorio enorme, obsoleto y muy desgastado. El baño muy viejo hasta las toallas eran muy finas y gastadas. Lo mejor que tiene es el desayuno , que te lo hacen al momento y las recepcionistas que te ayudan para todo. Igualmente considero que pagamos demasiado para lo que ofrece, también el tener toda la calle y vereda levantada no ayudó mucho.

Our family had booked a night at this hotel, and due to our son becoming very ill we had to postpone our dates in Hanoi till later in the month. We tried to request several times a date change, but as I was a couple of hours inside their 72 hour cancellation policy they rejected our request time and time again. I even contacted *********** to request on our behalf, but they would not accept any changes at all. I also emailed the hotel several times directly explaining the situation, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to respond. I cancelled the booking out of courtesy 2.5 days out, as I knew my son was unable to travel and so I wanted them to be able to resell the room. My card was charged straight away. So disappointed, I’ve never had anyone in hospitality be so unprofessional as to not return an email with a reasonable request. I would not recommend this hotel due to this experience.

Omdat het hotel 9 jaar geleden zo goed was bevallen voor deze reis wederom dit hotel geboekt. Ook vanwege de ligging. Je wandeld het steegje uit en bent in het centrum.In totaal tijdens mijn reis 4x2 nachten verbleven en kreeg steeds dezelfde kamer. Deze was compact maar prima. Mijn kamer was aan de achterkant van het pand en het rolgordijn was naar beneden. Het uitzicht op een binnenplaatsje werd zo verborgen. Een heerlijk bed met fijn beddengoed en heerlijk kussen. De kamer was erg schoon.Het ontbijt is niet uitgebreid maar voldoende keus. Je hebt elke dag de keus uit het buffet én je kunt iets van de kaart bestellen zoals pancake of ommelet. Het personeel, zoals Jenny en Walkie waren uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Liepen ook met je mee, soms met paraplu, naar de doorgaande straat waar de taxi klaarstond. Taxi vervoer is dus te regelen in het hotel, evenals een simkaart en er zijn mogelijkheden om een tour te boeken.

Small and Cozy hotel. Right inside the heart of the city. Food, shopping, sightseeing all at walking distance Room's are big and sparkling clean. Breakfast is only available. Non veg section consist of beef and pork but they prepare chicken if asked for. The staff are very understanding and helpful. They have a tour desk who can help you to plan your stay perfectly.

Location is fabulous - off a busy street so it’s quiet at night, but the street it’s on is hugely interesting in the morning and evening. However the fruit & vege sellers think “tourist”, so the prices they quoted seemed to be very high. In a Junior suite with balcony, and that was really wonderful. Lots of space to move (stayed six nights so this was important), plus an extra bed which was useful as partner not very well so able to move about without disturbing each other. In Hanoi during a massive heatwave so balcony not used much, but we loved to lean over and watch the folk below in the cool of the morning. I did water the plants though, poor things. Those of you who like to wash clothing as you go along, the hangers are great for shorts and everything dries beautifully overnight in the bathroom. Bathroom a very nice size. Staff were great, always friendly and a happy welcome when we turned up looking wrecked at the end of each day. If you can get breakfast included, it’s worthwhile. We didn’t but tried it once to see how good it was. Eating area very small but plenty to eat and nice quality. Very good value too.

Staff were so lovely! Great location for old city and lovely and clean. Responded well to all queries and arranged all transfers well. A walk to a lot of attractions. Breakfast included and very good indeed. We so enjoyed our stay and thank you so much Jessica for all of your assistance.

Initially, I was concerned about the property after reading stories of people being ‘told’ to leave 10/10 reviews at the end of their stay. But in the end: everything was genuinely great for the price — from the warm welcomes of the staff, to the made-to-order breakfasts, the lovely junior suite with spacious balcony and warm shower, the great location in the centre of the Old Quarter… Everything was good except the sink in my room blocking up a few times. But housekeeping promptly fixed it so maybe it was the way I was using it.
