斯特林高爾夫俱樂部汽車旅館(The Stirling Golf Club)

The location is amazing - so peaceful and scenic overlooking the golf course. The bed was very comfortable and we were nice and warm with the heating provided. The bathroom was very old and basic as was the kitchen . We appreciated the free bottled water and breakfast provided. A bit expensive considering the old bathroom facilities

Ok for what we needed.

Booked to play on my own at 10.12 on 31 Jan with a buggy as extremely hilly course. Started off ok but after a few holes got behind groups of senior players and spent the remainder of the round being continually held up. Obviously no knowledge of the traditions and ethics of golf to invite me to play through. Had I been told when I booked that Wednesdays are “Seniors” days and it would be busy I would have booked an alternative day and time. Very frustrating disappointing morning. Furthermore whilst a scenic course with good greens and fairways the buggy paths, which I was advised to keep to were rough unmade tracks uncomfortable to drive on and many tees were worn with little grass. Good write up on it’s own website as The Stirling Golf Club but obviously my expectations were much too high leading to a disappointing morning. No one in Pro Shop to make my feelings known. Only a notice on door to say “In Bar.”

Not worth the money, their idea of a continental breakfast is putting a couple of bags of cereal in a drawer with a small carton of full fat milk in the fridge. Curtain was hanging off the rail and paint was peeling in the bathroom. I won’t be coming back or recommending this as a place to stay. Needs a major refurb. Also, no idea what the password was for the free wifi!

Spacious motel room with terrace and golf course views. Very quiet, basic breakfast (toast, jam, cerials etc) in the fridge incl. Not far from the Motorway and Hahndorf

Wonderful peaceful setting overlooking golf course the room was spotless clean,the bed was perfect .would stay again

The grounds have some good views overlooking the golf course. The property itself is very tired and worn out and not good value for money. The room decor was very dated and the bathroom needed a good scrub. The bed was comfortable however the doona cover and pillow cases did not smell fresh.The continental breakfast should have included fresh juice and fresh milk however this was not provided. Internet did not work. Despite this, staff were friendly, overall.

It was very Relaxing enviroment. No one was in the office when I arrived but was assisted by the staff in the pro Shop

No hot water to shower with in the morning. Bathroom could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly
