Decent place to stay. There was a small change in my ******* booking the manager was not bothered about it and made the customer sort it out. It would have been better for the motel to call ******* to sort out instead of me overpaying and dealing with ******* for a refund. Not good for service industry.Hence the 4 stars

It was a newly renovated room, modern design, extremely comfortable firm bed, huge space, perfect for a multi-day stay. Do not let the sometimes present smell of sulfur stop you from renting there, it is much better than most run down other places. The staff was so, so helpful when it was needed, the kitchen had all the basics for home cooking, it was an easy 20min walk from grocery and restaurants, and so, so convenient for all the fun the Redwoods offer.

Booked for 1 night, lovely refurbished room and comfy bed. Such as shame this experience was ruined by the Rude Receptionist. Check in time: 2pm-5.30pm however office was closed when we arrived at 2.45pm. After several knocks, I rung the contact number only to be told by a rude young woman she was on lunch and be back in 10 mins. She did in fact arrive shortly after, we had a blunt conversation with me requesting to see the Manager only to be told they weren't in until Sunday. My point is this: please be present for your customers during the designated check in time, don't then repeat the conversation we had with your boyfriend who walked into the office once we had left showing No respect for us at all.

Excellent location in Fenton Street. The motel was perfect for us, a family of 4. The lady at the check in was very friendly. Property was clean and just the right amenities needed for 2 nights. Parking was just outside the room

We booked a family room for the night before Easter Friday, we informed the reception that we would check in after hours, and the reception was very nice in organizing the room key locked in a key box, and sent us an email with instructions and advised there will be no after-hours contact available. When we arrived at the motel at midnight, the key box was unlocked and no room key is in the key box. I sent an email at midnight stating the incident. The next morning around 9 am, I received 3 emails from different people from the motel, one asking me did I manage to get in the room or do I want a refund. Later in the Easter Friday morning, the receptionist advised their staff had forgotten to put the key into the key box. At last, I have my refund, but the experience is absolutely horrible. No one from the motel has rung us to apologize. The receptionist has sent an email to apologize but not the motel manager. Absolutely foolish mistake and the motel is not under good management.

Property has been renovated and is very pleasant to stay in. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of hot water with good pressure in shower.

My wife and myself stayed for 4 nights at the motel. Pretty new property. The manager Romi was very good. Polite. pleasant and helpful. The room was large. There was a small kitchenette with induction coil cooking arrangement. Pots, pan, plates, bowls, cutlery, a small fridge, toaster an kettle. Well stocked with sachets of drinking chocolate, freeze dried coffee and tea bags. The bathroom was large. The bath towel rack was heated electrically. Balakrishnan

We booked a jacuzzi room. We stayed at number 7. Jacuzzi is worn out and too dirty to use. We didn’t used it. Dead flies in the kitchen… definitely not worth the money we’ve paid. Bed is small but clean and shower works fine. Can not believe the good reviews…

Quiet, convenient location. Perfect to explore Rotorua and surroundings. The room has recently been renovated - clean, roomy, well-presented, well equipped kitchenette, smart TV and good wifi. Staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful.
