The only thing I didn’t like was the noise at night from the freight trains across the street. The window was a single pane and didn’t close tightly, so the noise from the trains was loud. I would stay again but maybe on the backside away from the trains.

Clean, neat, attractive. Friendly staff. Allowed me to check in at 11:00 when arrived early so we were able to rest before meeting our friends.

Level of noise was a real problem with a busy railline just across the highway from the room. Generally average condition but not recommended for those with normal hearing...

The noisiest place I have ever stayed. Been a bit since I had stayed there last, I don't remember it being that bad before. I think either the windows and/or the wall mount AC unit lets every sound in, as loud as if you were standing out in the parking lot. There are freight trains across the highway which run and blow horns all night long, and a 4 lane highway between the trains and hotel.

Fine EXCEPT: freight yard very close and locomotives noisy. Check the aerial. Bring good earplugs

Very friendly they accommodate you. Never have had any issues with them. Like staying there just don't like price. Jump during 4th of July or fair even when we are continued customers. Kinda bothers me on that. Otherwise great place to stay.

The name of the hotel is slightly misleading... I was hoping for a lake view (the name of the hotel -Lakeside, would imply that). It's literally 2 blocks away from the water and you might have gotten a lake view from the 2nd floor if the windows were oriented to the south...the layout was windows oriented east/west. All in all good value, clean and friendly staff.

It was a nice room. Comfy bed. Heat was iffy. Breakfast is no longer served so that was a bummer. But easy check in and check out.
