A very good place and a good value but in need of updating and refurbishment. Liked · Great staff who could not do enough for you. The location is perfect. Food for dinner was delicious, but the service was very rushed and there were several miscommunications with the staff. breakfast was good but not great. Lots of amenities in the room. The lobby. The holiday decorations and the outside terrace were lovely. Super clean. The free coffee, tea, soft drinks, and raman in the lobby were a wonderful touch. Location is perfect and veiw from the room was wonderful. Disliked · Decor was very dated in the room and somewhat depressing. Toilet paper and towels were both terrible; they were cheap and awful. Such a shame for such a nice place to cut corners on a minor but important detail. Little or no storage in the room except for some hangers.

This hotel provided great service and clean accommodations. I love that hotels in Japan provide pajamas and toothbrushes. This hotel had two public baths. It's nice that they have one bath where the water is not as hot. We had the dinner buffet. It included American and chinese offerings. You receive a ticket for one serving of the Hida beef. I thought the food was good. I like that the portions are small, so you can try a lot of things. We also had the breakfast buffet which included Takayama specialty items too. There is a large souvenir shop in the hotel, so you are able to pick up gifts. I thought the prices are comparable to other gift shops. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the train station. It is a 7 minute walk to the train station, so it's not so bad. They only have two shuttles that go to Takayama Jinya (government house) which is across the bridge from Sanmachi Suji. Otherwise it's at least a 20-25 minute walk. I wish they had more shuttles to that area. There is not much to look at on the way from the hotel to Sanmachi. As Takayama becomes more popular with tourists, most of the hotel staff and store owners are able to communicate in English. Overall, I enjoyed my time at the hotel and would stay there again.

設施：新酒店一切都很新，有設計感 衛生：衛生沒得說，好 環境：位置很好就在上三町，古街就在旁邊，斜對麪就是可以品嘗飛彈和牛和日本酒的味之與平。去宮川朝市，高山陣屋，車站，去吃米其林法餐，都可以步行去 服務：有配備簡單的泡湯吃，泡湯出來可以免費雪糕冰激凌。住店的客人晚上可以暢飲各種酒水。很有體驗感。 住這家酒店的絕大部分是歐美遊客，有八成吧。說日語的說中文的都很少。 除了酒店價格偏貴一些，其他沒毛病。

Takayama was easily the best place we visited during our entire visit to Japan. We stayed 2 nights in a Japanese style room with a private outdoor bath and dinner and breakfast. The room was absolutely beautiful - so spacious, clean, and luxurious, with all the amenities we could have needed. The outdoor bath was heavenly, and the view from the balcony was the icing on the cake. It was lovely to come back from dinner and have our futons laid out for us. If you’re looking for a truly traditional Japanese dining experience then look no further. We had a private dining booth, and the food was served in small courses. The food itself was very different to what we’re used to, and it was quite intimidating! But the staff did a good job at explaining what everything was and how to eat it. We were concerned that we might have communication issues since Hoshokaku is away from the big cities, and we weren’t sure how prominent English would be here. But the staff spoke the clearest English of any other accommodation we stayed at. They were so attentive all the time that we almost felt like royalty. We’re already planning to stay again when we next visit Japan! One last thing I’d like to mention is to address concerns in previous reviews about smoking in the building. I think this must be something which has completely changed; we didn’t get a whiff of smoke anywhere in the building. The entire place was immaculate and honestly a joy to wander around in.

We stayed at this temple hotel overnight as part of a tour of Japan. The accommodation was simple and I experienced my first time sleeping on a traditional futon, which was an experience in itself. We had to respect the customs of the temple, i.e. take shoes off before entering the building. We tried the communal bathing rooms (but on a one to one basis, not sharing) which was refreshing. The toilets and washbasins were shared. The breakfast was lovely, the staff friendly and helpful. A lovely new experience for me. We attended the early morning rituals by the monks at the temple which was a very moving service, before moving on to our next destination.

６我上班的時候用過。前台很熱情地爲我解釋了晚餐(酒家)推薦的店,這點非常有用。公共浴場有時間限制,但是我一大早就用了。洗手間只有３處,是個小浴場,但是我使用的時候只有一個人,所以可以輕鬆進去。早餐因爲日冕的緣故,變成了便當。很遺憾,便當和味噌湯不是很好吃,而是留下了大半。住宿費也很便宜,週邊有很多居酒屋和拉麪店,我認爲這是一家方便的住宿。

這裡適合做為前往合掌村的中繼站, 除了順路以外高山也是一個小型的觀光景點, 這間酒店位於一個斜坡上, 雖然酒店有提供汽車停車位, 不過門口的斜坡所以不推薦拉行李箱的旅客, 房間都是雅房的設計, 男女生的浴室都是日式的公共澡堂, 房間內部是簡單乾淨, 有電視跟舒適的床鋪, 也必須推薦這裡的早餐, 可以點一份主餐跟自助取用的咖啡跟飲品.

很喜歡田邊旅館，老奶奶很可愛，日文夾着英文給我們介紹旅館的一些設施，帶我們去挑選浴衣，還問我們從哪裡來，然後說了句中文的謝謝😜，然後還介紹了旅館牆上的書法都是她爸爸寫的，她爸爸是藝術家，確實棒棒的，旅館的奶奶們都穿着和服，忙前忙後為我們準備晚餐，然後介紹了一下菜單吧，不過聽不懂，哈哈，晚餐超級豐富，驚呆我們了，是會席料理哦，比懷石料理更豐富，每一樣菜都精緻美味，海鮮很新鮮，飛彈牛肉有兩三片，不知道是不是煮的久了，也沒吃出很特別的香味，但是肉不老，還可以吧，我們一共四個人佔用了一間房享受這個豐盛的會席料理，美滋滋的。

很慶幸在高山市中心找到了這家可愛的“店屋”酒店。主人牧野先生對我們很周到而且非常友善。我們在 101 號房間住了四個晚上，我們需要為孩子們準備兩張獨立的蒲團床。町屋酒店 (Machiya Hotel) 位置安靜，但交通便利，步行約 5-10 分鐘即可到達附近的所有景點，如老城區和 Morninga 市場。這是一個我們非常欣賞的慢城。我喜歡我們如何將其用作白川鄉等地的基地。我們住的房間通向一個美麗的小花園。感謝您擁有我們！我們會回來的！

裝修沒得挑很不錯，出行非常方便，離著名烤肉店丸明非常近，拿了號可以直接回酒店休息（順便一提，現在的丸明烤肉真是垃圾，甚至不如周邊小店味道好，人多，服務態度可以説是全日本最差），隔音稍微差點，這家我入住的時候很多泰國人還有印尼來的遊客……總覺得有點無法接受和他們一起泡澡，別的都非常推薦，在高山的平價酒店裡是很好的選擇
