薊花客棧(The Thistle Inn)

The room was freezing and to very long time to warm up. Sheets clean stiff and uncomfortable. The door to the bathroom the trim on the floors nails sticking up and could rip a bare foot. Over priced for this time of year and could use some sprucing up.

We stayed in the crows nest. It was a beautiful apar**ent with lots of room. The email directions on where and how to enter were unclear an it took me 15 minutes of running around in the rain to figure it out. There were supposed to be instructions on WiFi, parking etc next to the door but there were none. We needed heat and none turned on in the living area. I was able to figure out the mini split in the bedroom. I called the number given in the email several times but there was a recording and no call back. Another guest gave me another # to call the second day He came and fixed the gas fireplace. Too much of an adventure. The Thistle Inn needs to get it's act together. The place was lovely but.....

Love that it is close to downtown area. Attached restaurant is very good. It is directly on the main street into town, but not too loud.

We came in during the wee hours, and they gave us codes for the front door and the room door. Easy, and comfortable sleep - easy walk into the harbor area. I imagine our stay was much quieter during the night than places down along the waterfront.

Probably the dirtiest hotel room in which I've stayed. Immediately upon entrance I started taking photos of how disheveled unclean and unacceptable I found the room.. fingerprints all over the surfaces at least a year's worth of dust on the air conditioner vents. Spiders in the corners. No deadbolt no chain a poor quality door knob and lock who knows how many people have that key? Didn't even have a toilet paper holder. 100% not ADA compliant or accessible by a wheelchair with extremely steep steps. No way for an elderly person to get their luggage upstairs and no one there to help you.

room is located in an old home attached to a restaurant. Lucky for us the restaurant is closed today otherwise there would have been people coming & going outside our room. Also appears the restaurant has patio seating right outside our room. Parking would have been located across the street if restaurant was open.

It was very noisy when the restaurant was open. There was no staff or security present. We were the only ones in the entire complex which was disconcerting . The bathroom was tiny with a tiny shower. The bed was fine and the floors were clean. Some of the outside siding was rotted. We would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Sorry

The property was excellent and the restaurant at the property was the best in the area.
