弗維宜海逸飯店(Harbour Hotel Fowey)

I feel like we had the very worst room in the Hotel. I paid for the second highest grade of room but the room we had for whole stay was a noisy drafty basement room which felt like it was an after thought. It was beneath the restaurant and next to the drinks storage room so we had talking clanking banging creaking and constant walking above our heads. I slept terribly and could not get to sleep until the restaurant closed. Then first thing in the morning staff came to get bottles from storage which woke us up after a horrible nights sleep. Check in was a nightmare we where kept waiting after check in time and other who arrived after us where given their rooms before us. The staff aside from two are incredibly nonchalant . I felt like we where just a nuisance … no personal touches and every question or request seemed like a total inconvenience to them. Dinner was bland and lackluster . When I brought this to the Hotels attention they disagreed with me and basically told me I was wrong. The Hotel is in an incredibly popular town and location so do not in their opinion have to make an effort and it shows. I paid over 300 pounds a night for an experience that was at best 3 star. Perhaps as we are two men traveling together it was prejudice and we where not welcome .. it certainly felt like this to us … Be very careful when booking and avoid room 401 !!!! Terrible .

Only there for a short time working but the service was excellent. Hotel was spotless and the room was very comfortable. I would recommend and would stay again.

Lovely stay, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. However bedding was uncomfortable.

Excellent stay would recommend this hotel to all, fantastic staff and room was good on all aspects. Looking forward to returning soon.

Great stay at the Fowey Harbour Hotel . Lovely room and the food was great . My main issue was the car park situation .

Fantastic stay all aspects of our stay was excellent, would recommend this hotel for cleanliness and staff were all very helpful and polite, also the rooms are also excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff. Given a room upgrade with card and chocolates because we had stayed there before. Excellent.

Really really great hotel. Reserved parking as promised, thank goodness. Staff all lovely. Very clean room , sparkling bathroom and very comfortable bed.
