I've been staying her for over 10 years and they are NOT a 4* resort. The rooms need major updated but the mgmt is a nickel and dime operation. Stayed over the weekend and went to Anhala for an Iced Coffee and the staff told us they couldn't do that? At 7:15 am the phone systems were down for over an hour and we couldn't order room service, late checkout. I have a small Pom dog and he is a service dog. We didn't have his vest on since we just drove in from Santa Fe, NM. (8 hours driving) They charged me $50 for the dog and the Bellman (Richard) reported us to mgmt. This is after he took my luggage up to my room and took my $5 tip. Front Desk would not waive my $50 fee and I was so upset with how we were treated that I forget that I even had his Service Animal vest. They comped my 10 hour stay of $29 resort fee. BFD! No iced coffee for breakfast at the Cafe. ( told us no) No phone service at 7:15 am for an hour to order room service..via hotel phone or from my cell. Charged $50 for a service dog and would not waive it. The 4th floor ice machine was out for over a week so we had to schleep down to the 3rd flr Bellman Richard who is a supervisor took my $5 tip and then ratted me out to Front Desk but they didin't ask if my dog was a service dog? He saw him only in car at valet. Rooms have major chips in bathroom doors, paint chips everywhere, windows are super dirty. If you're disabled you'll probably be charged for your wheelchair and your ADA service animal.

This ****** is so clean and nice. From the room to the machines. Great hospitality and employees are so friendly. They will do what it takes to make the stay perfect.

I liked that I felt very safe at the hotel and ******. The room and hotel were clean which is always a plus. I do recommend the buffet on Friday and Saturday night. I would have gave a five star if it wasn’t for the three times I got the wrong room upon check in. The first one I walked in while someone was sleeping in the room. Then after the third attempt, the front desk made me feel like it was my fault for these mistakes!

As a VIP at ******* I got an early and late check in and free upgraded room with a mountain view!!! Everything was fantastic except the pool is not heated enough.

Over all, the property is nice. It's secluded from the city and has a wonderful a**osphere. The service however is awful. We checked in and were placed in the wrong room. My friend and I had to go back down to show the booking to get the correct room. Even then, we still weren't placed in the correct room. Front desk had us on hold for 25 minutes. Finally someone took our info down so manager could call back. When the manager did finally call, it was at 9:42pm which I would consider unprofessional. We simply requested a refund of the difference in price for the room we paid for and what we received. Apparently that was unreasonable. I'm still waiting for ******* to take care of this situation.

The property is immaculate. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

The staff throughout this hotel and ****** are amazingly friendly and professional. All offering greetings, even when they are walking into work themselves. Hotel is still classy, clean and maintained well.
