We found everything about the Blue Door, to be excellent, and the Baked egg breakfast was so special we had to ask for (and got) the recipe - we will be back.

A wonderful place. The staff was great. The room was lovely.
They provide a breakfast in a basket to your room that is just fantastic--provided you're not on a diet of kale and quinoa.

The town of Mendocino is so very unique and definitely now one of the best places we have ever stayed in around the world. And our stay at Packard House complimented that perfectly.
The accomodation was beautifully clean, tidy and in keeping with the picture perfect clapperboard houses next to am unbelievably stunning coastline.

View of the ocean from our room; free wine and cheese-and cookie- reception. Very walkable area close to the cliffs overlooking the ocean, stores and restaurants.

All the staff we had contact with were very helpful, pleasant. The breakfast was brought to our door each morning and the food was amazing. Each day's breakfast was different from the day before. Eggs souffle, poached another day with roasted potatoes, quinoa w/fruit, yogurt and fruit, orange juice everyday, and great coffee and tea.
We satyed in a converted Water tower that was incrediblely cute and the beds were super comfortable. Great place!

We had a fantastic stay. Room was clean and beautifully decorated, breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly. Great communication. Bathroom could use a bit if updating. Shower was tiny and a bit strange that the coffee bar was in the bathroom. That said, we would recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay in the area. Thank you

The trench in the front of the property makes it difficult to park in front . Also sketchy for walking out. Wish the hot water came on faster, with the water situation what it is in town it would be nice not to have to run the water forever before it gets warm!
