奧莉芙城中飯店(Olive Downtown)

Cet hôtel 5 étoiles locales est proche du métro Kadavanthra en provenance de l'aéroport de Kochi. Les chambres sont grandes, parquetées et propres. J'ai de***dé une chambre au calme en étage élevé avec une vue ne donnant pas sur les rues bruyantes et le métro et ai bien été servi. Malheureusement des clients (ou des personnels de l'hôtel) bougent des meubles sur le sol pendant la nuit. Le personnel est courtois et serviable. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est copieux et complet.

The best part about this place is that it's in the city centre and getting anywhere in Kochi from here is very easy and convenient. The food is decent and the staff is friendly. They also have a very nice roof top sitting where they serve food and has a great view of the city from top. Overall a nice place and definitely recommended.

Service was very poor. I hadordered two toasted bread with butter jam ***** with with two tea. Even 40 minutes after placing the order no order has been delivered. When I contacted the in room dining they said it’s on the way. Again waited for 15 minutes nobody came. Thereafter I have informed the same to front office and they said they will check and revert. But nothing heard from them also. Finally it’s reached after one hour ten minutes. The tea was like cold water. And bread delivered frozen and not without jam and butter. I advise public not to stay with this propert because it’s deliver the poor standards of hoteliers. When I requested in the front desk to arrange a meeting with general ***ager they said he is in a meeting. After ***** waiting of two hours nobody came. Now checking out.

If you love mosquitoes, noisy nights and unprofessional, incapable front desk staff- go ahead and book this 5 star rated hotel. I always post positive reviews, so what happened here?( Notes to owner after each*) 1. Entry is swarming with mosquitoes, which follow guests into lobby, lifts and rooms. Our room had mosquitoes behind the curtains and in the bathroom on the 7th floor. I had numerous bites from sitting in the lobby for 10 minutes. * One incense stick at one of the entries is truly pathetic. Serious attention to your mosquito problem is needed to provide your guests with a safe environment. Electrical options? 2. Noise at night. We were kept awake in Room 716 both nights by intermittent loud thumping and trolley (not bag) wheels on a hard floor. No voices. Noise went on until past 1am and started again at 5am. 3. My husband called reception early in the morning on our first day to complain about the noise. He was told the laundry is above our room! He then went down to reception after breakfast and was told there's definitely NO laundry above our room...there shouldn't be any noise and she'd investigate. The second night was worse. We then looked into the window of the door next to our room marked "Staff Only". Sure enough- large laundry trolleys! As we checked out, my husband expressed his disappointment with our stay, with that same female staff member. He asked to speak to the ***ager- she said she was a ***ager. (I noticed a male ***ager - blue shirt did come out of his office and stood to the side, observing and listening) As my husband politely outlined his concerns the female staff member-'***ager' repeatedly pushed back as if he was lying. Finally, she said she had wanted to change our rooms the day before but couldn't find us. When my husband said we were back in our room by 6pm...and she could have contacted us as she had our phone number- blank- she had nothing to say. End of story. No apology. The most appalling thing was the senior(?) male ***ager who heard everything just walked off! * ***agement needs a full scale review- training is essential - basic communication skills (including the need to apologise when appropriate), procedural processes erc. Also undertake a review of workplace culture to refocus on guests- that's your business!!! Finally to the positive... The restaurant staff were lovely, good breakfast, comfortable bed, bottled water supplied, good hotel security.

This is not a five star hotel using any kind of comparison. It is in a very busy area and the traffic noise is audible in the rooms and especially so on the roof by the pool. Reception staff (when we were there) spoke very little English. We were given a room on the seventh floor which smelt of smoke (non smoking room). We were then moved to the eighth floor but were woken at 6.30am by the pool filtration motor. The rooms are large but basically furnished. The pool is fine but, as stated, it is so noisy on the roof that swimming was not a great experience. In addition, there are no loungers or comfortable chairs, just tables and chairs set as a restaurant. Obtaining towels was a challenge. We had to ring on the gym phone and they took 20 minutes to arrive. The food was, overall, acceptable and the salads were inventive. Breakfast, however, was disappointing with limited fresh fruit and very poor coffee. The restaurant staff members were helpful as were the bar staff (on the whole). This is, at best, a three star hotel.

Everything about hotel was good. Service, housekeeping, restaurant. Drawback for me was location. Surrounding area very congested. That is not a slight on hotel though. Poor choice by us. The buffets for breakfast and lunch were varied with a choice of both veg and non veg.

I stayed in olive from 24/11 , 25/11 , 30/11 & 1/12 in executive room . Hotel is located in the city and close to most of places and eatery . Front desk very helpful. Breakfast very nice spread snd very tasty . Room is spacious . I want to bring following points :- 1) TV reception very dull and channels very few . I could not few india australia 4 th T 20 2) bathroom on 7 th floor i stayed on 24/11 &25/11 was awefully smelly . 3) lift operate on room key and only 1 key given . So if couple is staying we can not move alone . 4) switch board os very small , confusing and difficult to operate. Immediate improvement needed .

I must say that my experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it was the staff, especially Anjana at the front office, who truly made this stay memorable.

That was a memorable stay, we really enjoyed the days, we got a smooth check in and check out. Ms. Anjana really helped us. The food was also good they have nice spread. And accessible location also. We would like to recommend this property.
