Arrived early and got to check in early as the room was empty. We stayed in the Cairo room and it was excellent, one of the best rooms I have stayed in and furnishings/bathroom looked brand new. Will definitely be back and request the same room again.

Unfortunately we had to leave a day early, but we LOVED staying at Le Monde! All of the staff is helpful and welcoming. Central in New Town, a bit further from the biggest tourist areas (which we preferred) but still easy to get to wherever you need to go.

We loved our stay at Le Monde, the room was a perfect location, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and had all that we needed. Our iron was leaking but this was quickly rectified by reception. The check in process was speedy and welcoming. We didn't want to leave and would have happily stayed an extra night. We can't wait for our next stay, it was a really special experience.

We enjoyed the themed rooms at this hotel and staff was friendly, but like most hotels in Ireland/Scotland, no parking was available and it was a 15 minute walk to the car. their website listed two parking lots, but neither were available.

The cleaning is exemplary - lovely clean room and bathroom and comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good size room. The lighting is TERRIBLE - non-intuitive multiple buttons to press and often difficult to get them to react. Drove us potty. Internet connection is lousy: you have to keep logging in and it's slow and buggy. Lighting and internet are irritating enough to put us off staying here again. Breakfast was very poor - tepid water for the tea, uninspiring fried breakfast.

Lovely hotel with quirky decor. Friendly check in and helpful staff. Good sized room and bathroom. Good location, easy walking distance around the city. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby.

One minor blip was waiting over an hour for some room service but was rectified by not charging so all ok. Will defo be back.

Had a lovely stay, staff we’re very accommodating and room was cosy and clean. The only downside was we didn’t have a key to get into our room due to the system being broken.
