I recently stayed at The Mill House Inn (Sept 2022) and was extremely disappointed in the quality of the room, the dining and the staff! There was not a lot of good in the experience - especially when compared to when I previously stayed at the inn approximately 6 years ago and it was fabulous. This time however, the room was worn out with fraying carpets, peeling leather chairs, broken luggage racks and an abundance of dust and cobwebs. The breakfast was provided on plastic plates with plastic utensils and paper cups. Now I realize we are still in Covid times, but spare me this ‘take out experience’… especially as restaurants within blocks are serving with real dishware and glasses. Might we say that th Mill House is exploiting their customers to save money all in the name of Covid, I think so. By the way, they don’t seem to have any trouble charging incredible prices for this below par experience. Never again for me!
