史崔特歷史飯店(The Strater Hotel)

Amazing spot! Right in the hub of all the life in Durango! Great parking. The hotel itself was part of the visits fun. We walked around one night looking for something to do, but around 8PM things tend to close down in Durango but it turns out the hotel had to fun we were looking for. We walked back to the hotel and heard lively ragtime piano music coming from the hotels connected saloon. We walked in, found a chair, and cheered along with the rest of the crowd enjoying the music and stories of Adam Swanson.

Super gelegenes Hotel, um die - für Touristen ein Muß - Bahnfahrt nach Silverton anzutreten. Das Hotel hat natürlich Charme, ist aber auch entsprechend teuer.

Used to actually live in Durango and this is always a first choice when going back to visit. If you choose to not venture far, it provides all the amenities needed, but is also centrally located downtown, so is an easy walk to anything you want to do or see on Main Street.

In the bathrooms there are no handles and the bathtub is slippery, a heater is needed in the bathroom since in cold weather it is a little freezing.

We loved the history of the hotel. The decor was elegant and reminded us of the past. I love the decoration in our room. We will definitely be back.

It would be nice to have been told upon check in about reserving the jacuzzi. It ultimately worked out and we were able to reserve 30 min late in the evening.

AMAZING!!!! We unexpectedly stopped in Durango and chose this hotel based on walking distance to all kinds of places and the historic look. Once we walked in and got our room, we were amazed! It felt like walking back in time while still having all the modern perks. We had drinks at the Diamond Belle and ate dinner at The Mahogany. Highly recommend both. The staff is insanely friendly and helpful!! For the price of $107, it felt like a steal. Clean room and bathroom, comfy bed and linens. Highly recommend!

Stayed for winter and New Years vacation had a wonderful time.Having a hotel with quality entertainment when you come back from winter activities was fantastic.Always sceptical staying at an old hotel, but I really enjoyed this hotel.
