Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and shown the room and amenities. Super friendly and helpful. Room was clean, coffees n teas and all that. Good location, near train station. 35 or so mins into Edinburgh but views in the train are pretty special. The heritage quater of Dunfermline is nearby, and on the opposite side of things, a bowling alley and food court nearby. Enjoyed myself as a solo traveller, would recommend.

If you are looking for a nice guesthouse in Dunfermline, right by the train station to Edinburgh (4 min walk), with wonderful hosts (Colin and Suzy), a superb breakfast, and free parking, this is the place for you! Recommended! Thanks!!

Owners were so friendly, loved all of our stay, we were visiting friends and this was ideal for our friends to pick us up for days out. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Loved the yogurt and toast etc.

What wonderful hosts Susie and Colin are - great people, kind and welcoming and perfect for what they do. This is a cute guest house, very well located for Dunfermline Queen Margaret station just a few minutes away, which itself is just 40 minutes from Edinburgh. Comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast, this was a great location to get into and out of Edinburgh for the fringe. Thanks for a great stay and for being such great hosts.

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Clarke Cottage. Received a very warm welcome from Suzanne who was very accommodating with our late arrival and arranging a twin room. Rooms are clean and comfortable and a great location near the train station. There’s on-site parking too.

Wonderful welcome, great owners/staff. The Guest House is on a main road, but it was very quiet inside. The room was a little dark, but there was everything you could need. The breakfast was terrific. And the location is very handy for a nearby pub for dinner.
