奧卡公寓飯店(Orka Apartments)

We have just finished our stay at Orka Apar**ents and felt so compelled to write a review to let everyone know about this little gem of a property. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely lady (I forgot her name but know she is not the usual host) who allowed us to check in early and showed us around. We stayed in Apar**ent 5 which is located across from the marina at the front of the property. A lovely apar**ent with everything you might need and more! A few steps and you are at the pool area. The pool areawas a big highlight of this property. A great place to chill out and cool off and it’s such a little sun trap! The surrounding garden areas were also so lovely and you are encouraged to enjoy them. The property is easy to access from the Gruz bus station. We took an Uber as we had luggage however is very walkable if you don’t have many bags. Beautiful views of the marina were amazing as we love to yacht and boat spot. The street can be noisy but we expected this and never disturbed us. Lovely restaurants surrounded the property and easy access to Dubrovnik old town by bus, taxi/uber or on a cooler day, walking. Will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Dubrovnik.

Absolutely best accomodation we have had at the best price to match! We felt so at home, i didnt want to leave. Anamarija was super helpful and friendly, we had the best time here. Wouldnt stay anywhere else in Dubrovnik. It was also super central to the dock and bus station, and very authentic.

Major works being done around the Port and Property, early noise from diggers, dust and mud not ideal for chilled out break, also builders on property fixing roofs and making more apar**ents, stones hit us a few times from roof. Apar**ent is clean, small and wants updating. Outside pool area is clean, fresh and beautiful, ideal after a good walk around Dubrovnik ! Dubrovnik is expensive compared to Split. Onsite restaurant is lovely but pricey. Will be a beautiful place to visit once this year's works are completed

We stayed here for a few nights, the place is easy to find just across the ferry docks (20min walk). This place has everything to be a cool, and well located site. Personally, the apar**ent felt way too basic, and poorly maintained. The furniture looks from the 70s, and the dishes and cutlery were basic and unmatched. I would probably not stay here again unless the units receive and updated makeover

Honest review. I have travelled to alot of countries... but Dubrovnik is now my favourite!! There are road works going on at the marina, so it makes getting to the apar**ent tricky, but this is not the owners fault and will be completed soon. Also Dubrovnik isnt suitable for poor mobility as there are alot of stairs. These apar**ents were AMAZING!! The host was excellent and very accommodating, including arranging our transfer to and from the airport. The apar**ent was very clean and had everything you need for self catering, including pool towels. The fact that there is a pool makes it even better as this is rare. Excellent location, facing the Marina with lots of restaurants and Sunset Beach being a 15 min walk away. Dubrovnik old town was only 8 euros in an uber. We even hired a boat and sailed ourselves around the 3 islands.. what an amazing experience. We can't wait to go back. Thanks Anamarija and family x

We stayed for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom apar**ent. Welcome was great and apar**ent ready on time. Pool area is excellent with good sunbeds, very clean, temperature just right in pool. Shame there wasn't a small bar despite having a huge Aperol advert! Only downside was the road outside or lack of it. Currently a rubble path with diggers etc. We are early risers so construction noise from 7.30am didnt affect us. Uber trips to/from were a 'negotiation' every time with the drivers as they didn't want to drive along a road under construction. However, the pool area is in a nice private courtyard and is unaffected by the current works. We ate at the Orka restaurant once for breakfast and it was excellent. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again as once the road is complete it will be a nice tranquil site with a good pool (rare) for a reasonable price and near to amenities

I recently stayed at the Orka apar**ents in Lapad Croatia. The hotel was good, and the pool was excellent but nobody informed us that they were in the middle of a construction site. The local authorities in their wisdom have decided to start building a new marina in the middle of the busy tourist season. To reach the apar**ents you have to risk life and limb to reach and depart the apar**ents. Roads dug up, heavy plant in use, no lighting and it is really dangerous. The hotel and the booking company should be warning customers of these hazards but they are not and so any customers using these apar**ents this summer are in for a rude awakening.

First, very clean but basic apar**ents, unfortunately very noisy early morning from 6.30 due to much building works on the docks, General area is quiet with walks to beach or old Town, Uber is best very cheap . Dubrovnik itself is expensive 6_8 euros for beer 8 for wine 35e for steak, pizza 15_17e very much the dame foods offered would have liked more traditional not pizza, chips and fish, complex was beautiful with lovely pool but owners children played football every day around pool so no quiet time or peace ftom 4 till 7, personally not very guest friendly but they own it so there choise. Food and wine at a premium in the restaurant but lovely
